Interesting. Because you're wanting them to come 4th or 5th in order to claim a bonus you're going after horses that probably have higher odds which would lead me to think the margins would be greater (i.e. locking in a greater loss to qualify).

With typical mb23 promos up to $50, I'm generally happy to cough up $5-10 per race to hopefully snag 2nd or 3rd. I very rarely bet on anything outside top 3
