Completely agree. Had a big win and the tricks, attitude from employees, and eventual payment was all very shady.

I had over 100 missed calls from these bastards...I eventually answered then I got serious attitude. Probably because I only put in 25 and pulled a good amount out from brownlow 2010 straight after verifying my account.

They offer soft, out of date lines on NCAAB and NCAAF. In some cases >1 point differences.

Definition of good local books?

Australian ones are no better than the UK... Betfred, Bet365, William Hill, Victor Chandler = Centrebet, SportingBet, Sportsbet.

Why you would bother is just like in Australia where someone has five or six accounts with a number of bookies to get the best odds/bonuses/etc., the same applies with trustworthy overseas books. Anyway, with the advent of Moneybookers, movement of funds both ways is quick and easy.

Just remember though, like the Australian books, they don't like winners. All of those above limit and ban smart punters in a heartbeat.

In my opinion, if you just bet straight up (no multiples) and don't care about bonuses, BetFair in a liquid market and Pinnacle are the only accounts you need. However, if you want bonuses, multiples, want to arb., etc., then have as many as you feel is necessary.

exactly, the only reason i have an aus book is to bet afl props, but i imagine down the track even those will be offered by pinnacle etc (hopefully)

Did anyone else get a free bet from Luxbet? I guess its only because i rarely or ever use my account but i just checked and they had given me a $50 Free Bet, my brother got the same thing but he got a $100 Free Bet. Might be worth checking your account if you have one

don't all bets get referred for a few mins there? its the way its always been, maybe not for racing
