ezy do their withdrawals on a thursday and only thursdays so if you request one on a friday you wont get it for over a week, but 22 days that is a very worrying sign.
Have you satisfied all the ID requirements with them? they have a stupid "formD" they make you fill out, don't know why they don't just allow the online verification like every other ozbookie...must cost too much.

Yeah did the "form D" 2 days after opening and received confirmation it was all good a week later. Didn't try and withdraw until a month after that when all bonuses had been rolled. I've got the cash now but it took 8 phone calls and any amount of issues to resolve. What kind of bookie these days requires a manually completed form to be sent to them via Cobb N Co to be identified, then only processes withdrawals once per week. Reeks of cash flow issues. Then when you ring after hours there's nobody to help as one person is manning the phones and doing customer service so no chance live chat will work.

I've pulled all funds out now, just seems too risky for mine.

On the flip side, Unibet, TW and Topsport have been great withdrawing. For the issues the first 2 have their payments have been prompt.

Does anyone else have problems with the TAB and sometimes get: 'Over Limit - try again later.' Shits me to tears and then mysteriously it'll all be fine in five minutes.

How much are you betting and on what sort of markets? Someone has triggered the limits on the bet type (maybe you) and when the traders see it will either raise the limit and let you on or else shave the price or reject the bet. I've seen it happen when someone has wanted to put as little as $20 on a super liquid market like an AFL match H2H. In that case they must have been hit by a big bet fractionally earlier, and they've just dropped the limits to nothing while they readjust the market.

Finally gave TW the arse today! Phone App is crud and their odds aren't what they rave on about. Every race/Sport Centrebet offered much better odds. I'm not saying Centrebet is the way to go but it soils all over TW odds. TW's add says 'I know what punters want'........yer a fair go douche.

Haven't read entire thread but what's everyone's opinion as to the best betting agency? Like I just posted I gave TW the flick (and a nice email spray) and am with Centrebet now. Spoke to some moron to explain the $200 first deposit match but, she didn't know her head from her bum hole. So I bet the $200 then turn the winnings over once????

Depends what you're after.

If it's purely best odds then you'd struggle to find anyone who doesn't think Pinnacle are king. 365 are very solid for range of options, particularly if international sports is your thing. If it's sign up bonuses there are several offering $500 +, just google free bets Australia. For promos Luxbet are excellent while they last. Betstar and Ladbrokes run double fixed odds offers on major races if that floats your boat.

Just $100. If I swap browsers I can always get the full amount on or at very least slightly more. But yeah after some period of time I am able to get back on.

If you bet on racing i would say Bet365 are best

Bet365 are because you can lock in the early price and the top tote price; they're probably the best for the ordinary mug punter. Even still, it's good to use a program like Dynamic Odds so you can see fluctuations and the prices on Australian betting agencies. Centrebet's Centrebest is also good for metro racing on the same day as it serves a similar function to Bet365, except doesn't include their own fixed odds starting price, but still the fixed odds price when you place the bet.

Whenever you ring Centrebet they're fairly ordinary to speak to.

365 Best and CentreBest are essentially the same product, it's the fixed odds at the time of the bet, or best tote for Centrebest, and 365 best is fixed odds at the time of the bet, or best tote or SP I believe. CentreBest seems to be available on most races these days, city, provincial, country, but opens up later than bet365, whereas 365 best seems to be now only city meets and the bigger provincial days, and fixed or best of two totes for all other meetings, but opens up fairly early (mostly behind IAS)

Thanks for that. Just seems (after 3yrs) most other betting agencies have better odds than Waterhouse. Yer I should've jumped ship quicker if I didn't like Waterhouse. Was starting to notice Centerebet, for example, was giving 60c-$1.00 more on nearly every race and we all know that's a big difference if you're punting reasonably heavy. As for the sports odds FFS don't even get me started in regards to TW.

Yep Centrebet is a good start :) For instance today you can 'lock in' bets early, meaning you can get the earlier price and also the top tote. Centrebet have higher margins earlier than Bet365, though. For instance in race 9 at Flemington today, Bet365 are at 113% currently and Centrebet 123% (the lower the better). This means you get better prices earlier on Bet365. Centrebet will bring there's into about 110% within 10 minutes of the race. And yes, 60 cents makes a huge difference.

betstar DFO turnover:

I place X on a horse to place at $1.65 (late scratching at the barrier of a $3.60 place chance)

horse comes nowhere.

Should that X count towards my turnover requirement? (I believe a deduction would probably bring it just short of the $1.50 required) But I feel it should still count

^Check the "Banking" section, it will tell you how much you have left to turn over.

I believe it will count.
That was my issue it didn't count and i tried to explain to them it should, doesnt matter i backed sertorius the place rather then get into a big debate with them, so all good to withdraw now.

Why has an Australian bookie not adopted the "Pinnacle" model? Tight margins, best software for auto price movements, take on all comers for all amounts. No bonuses or specials, just best prices on everything. Clearly the model works or Pinny would be out of business.

Are there tax issues here preventing it from working or simply not the turnover to smooth a market when big bets arrive?

Obviously more profitable to attract and take on the nuffs but as the market becomes more saturated they're going to be harder and harder to pick up.

Officially they don't but I think iluvparis meant AUS anyway.

It's just pure volume. The turnover from Europe for soccer for example would be enormous which would allow the smaller margins. Some people think they are a betting syndicate themselves as well, who knows.

Has anyone withdrawn from Topsport before?

On Sunday night I put through a request by bank transfer and still yet to see anything in my account. All other Aussie books turn around within 2 days. This is going to be my drinking, eating, transport money for Caulfield this weekend, so hoping it hits by Friday!

Yeah I've done a couple. I think timing depends what type of account it's going to. Latest was a withdrawal last Friday, hit the account Tuesday. That was for a normal bank account. I think Cr Cards are a day longer.

did you deposit by debit card? if so they tend to credit back to the debit card rather than the a/c - which means it takes the banks an extra day to route the funds to your bank account
