I could really just stop after Chappy. That was as good a game by a player I have seen in a long time. Bravo Chappy.

Kudos to to Trav Varcoe. That was a cracking game and if he strings games like that together we will are in for a show this season.

I had him 5th. No way you could say he was better than Chappy, Ablett and Johnson though. Bartel debatable. 4th at highest.

Definitely the best game he's played for us though. First time he looked like he wanted it.

It depends on what basis you do your votes.

My primary criteria is contribution to the side's win (or attempt at a win).

Second to that, is whether a player met or exceeded expectations. So players with high expectations - Gazza, Jim, SJ, etc - get marked harder in my book than do the younger players.

I thought Gazza had a lot of junk time possessions tonight. He was good, but it wasn't his best work.
