Wonder if he'll go out with a punch--i mean bang.

Its pathetic when a player is seen in a good light for not using his fists anymore as opposed to not bloody resorting to it from the beginning.

Geez, mate, at least it suggests he's woken up and stopped being a knob on the field. Surely that deserves some credit.

one punched a hawk in the balls and got done for it [Kerr] another did it and got away with it [Hunter]

may not be a king hit but it is behind play and below the belt type thing to do to someone .
This happens every now and then and is def and epic bad bloke move. Don't know if it is on the same level as breaking somebodies jaw?

Kerr has acted like a tit in the past regardless, so whilst being a gun player definitely has history of being a very average individual.

Will play his last game this weekend against his old team (swans)
Will also be reported in the tomorrows herald sun.
Well done bazz :thumbsu:

I thought he is playing out the season?

Hall is the quintensential aussie rules footballer. He is foremost a man of steel. He does what he thinks its right. He is big, strong and not afraid to crack a few bones. If u want to be a man, be like Hall. These sydney critters have no appreciation for football.

There is some truth to the thug/coward angle but I hate it how all retirement threads are derailed by idiots bagging the player. Get stuck into him when the incident occurred but he hasn't put a foot wrong at the Dogs and deserves to be remembered as the brilliant player he was.

I look forward to the thread when Brent Harvey retires so others can return fire.

Pardon me, I forgot that even pricks turn into top blokes after [strike]death[/strike] retirement.

Fact of the matter is that he is a cowardly dog and that it is how he deserves to be remembered. He chose his bed, now he gets to lie in it.

Get off your high horse. What about heath shaw? he could have killed someone that night he willingly got into a car pissed.... yeah, he's an idiot, but seems like a nice bloke who also chooses to learn from his own mistakes, not others... Barry gave an annoying someone someone a love tap which he immediately regretted.

Barry is a legend.

Just been reading some of the comments from the more, shall we say, 'interesting' and 'headstrong' North supporters...

.. Guys, next time you want to start a 'please rate our kids after this weeks' win against a crap team' thread on the main board, don't be surprised if it's not exactly enthusiastically attended. You're not making too many friends, acting like annoying flies as you do around an adult conversation others are trying to have.

Oh and when you get beaten in an argument, it shows class to either admit it or, less so (but still acceptable), don't reply at all. Digging your hole deeper like a 5 year old is not a good look.

Dogs/Swans/General footy supporters: Some of us can congratulate a champ without descending an entire thread into a p!ssing contest about who is a worse bloke. Even though it's embarrassing to be a North fan because of some of the cretinous musings around here, please note that some of us are normal and civil. We just don't bark the loudest all of the time :)

Pretty sure he was charged with assault after he and a few of his mates jumped out of a car and belted up a 14yo kid in Broadford back in his St Kilda days. Quality bloke.

Hope you're well Sammy Mac.

Link???

Good post mate. You echo my thoughts.

I'm glad Barry got a chance to redeem his reputation at the Dogs and go out on a high. Well done Bazza! :thumbsu:

Don't be an idiot made

I didn't say anything about us being better, I just said we are adapting better to having him in our forward line. There's way more to the dogs fortunes this year than just that.

I have a strong hunch now Hall has hung up the boots. You guys need another forward and i wouldn't mind betting the doggies will be going after Fevola.
