I was thinking about getting him in but then happened on a tweet from him that said it was going to be his last game.
Just pure luck there but why can't these facts be better communicated to those playing their fantasy game!?
I traded out Richardson because I read he was off with the ODI squad. What happens? He's released early and plays and I am stuck with an intentional donut that I would have tried harder to avoid if I had known he would play.

Scored 791 for Rd8. 74th best score for the round. Spewing I didn't put the C on Handscomb. I honestly thought about it for a second before lockout. Also had Arafat's 92 points on the bench & Hogg's 32 points on the ground.*sigh*
Interesting that 3 of the top 4 scores were by cheats who made a new team just for Rd8. Sorry Mrs Jiska but I can't stand when people do that, not just in BBL but in SC & DT as well. There would be nothing worse than missing out on a weekly prize by a few points to someone who specifically made a new team to take the easy route to a weekly prize. Personally I'd ban people from making new teams after the 1st 2-3 rounds in all fantasy comps.

Agreed 100%.
Although I was tempted to do it considering my starting salary of 1M has gone down to 950K.
Scored 530 in round 8 but what little interest I had left in this comp died when I was a few minutes late getting back for the Stars innings and found my two batsmen, Wright and Pietersen were already gone. To ensure I really enjoy what should be great matches in the semis and final, I won't be updating my team. SC causes a little frustration most weeks and a major frustration a couple of times a year. This BBL fantasy comp causes intense frustration almost every game.
I wouldn't call them cheats because it's within the rules to do it, but I absolutely agree that those rules should be changed to ban new teams. In fact I'd ban them after the final round 1 lockout. Especially in SC, but also in this and DT. The weekly should be there as a possible consolation prize for those who have put in the hard yards all season.

Even if new teams aren't banned, they should be ineligible to win weekly prizes due to the obvious unfair advantage over teams who have had to trade all season to come up with their current teams. Not as easy to do when you factor in players losing value & others gaining value. Takes some skill to trade players in and out at the right time to maximise your teams scoring potential. Anyway, I'll leave it at that. End rant/
