Sorry haven't read the whole thread but is it common knowledge in Victoria that Eddie was the Stars president before the Paine thing?

Could explain low crowd numbers with 80% of Stars fans instantly switching to the Renegades.

Ouch...........that will hurt for the Stars.

As for the crowd, Katich was right - the season was way too long. Having 2 midweek finals when everyone is back at work/school was just badly planned. They could have had less games and wrapped up the season before the INTL 20/20 games. Not surprised - I would be shocked if there is more than 15K at the SCG tonight for the same reason.

Keep the same number of games, have more double headers, whether back to back or at the same time. Let Foxtel cover 1/3 of the games.

well if you look at it the stars left mckay on the bench for a swing bowler who bowls straight and runs in from bus stop 17 behind point ? wtf are they doing

plays an international fact bowler who is over weight and bowling half rat power. and glen maxwell, well he plays the best 15 runs every game , how this joker gets a game for australia i will never know

thanks stars !!

I would say most people that follow BBL in Melbourne would have already known Eddie was president.

Official crowd apparently just over 12,500 - terrible effort Melbourne.

Ten & CA's fault. The comp should've been finished before the school holidays finished. They dragged it out way too long.Perhaps more double header games on saturdays than the 2 or 3 they had would be better, but Ten want as many games as possible in prime time.

Yes it's common knowledge for anyone who watched the first 2 seasons.Just as it's common knowledge that Eddie Wannabe [A.K.A James Brayshaw] is the Renegades head honcho.

I support our team, but the Renegades not the Stars. If it were a one team city alot of people like me would have went.

12k out of 4.2million was a shock. I was thinking 25-30k crowd would have been the least of what I would have expected. It was a final, a bit of spice was added. They had just about their best team. SFA turned up. What happened?

Mid-week game

WTF ???
Hodge was the only one who got runs

Your juvenile attempt to belittle me on the Hussey thread didn't work either - so I don't know why you're bothering again so soon here.

Obvious efforts to continually skew and misinterpret what i write are obvious.

So kindly stop your trolling. Thanks.

Wow,someone got up on the wrong side of the bed.How was I trolling ?
You said Hodge choked in a big match, when in fact he was the only Tarts player to get a half century.I'd hardly call that choking.

Back to bed you go grumblebum.
