Last round of league fellas - don't forget to do your trades before tonights match.

No double games, no byes, just a stock standard round.

Unlimited byes from next week for finals so don't be stingy!!

trades done, more blokes I've never heard of!
hahahahah. I'm pretty damn impressed with my team now.

Batsmen: Lynn, Katich, Birt, White (Maddinson)
All rounders: Wright, Bravo (Keath)
Wkt Keepers: Dunk (Haddin)
Bowlers: Rimmington, Hazlewood, Vettori, Tait (Bollinger)

Regretting selecting Haddin in my original team, didn't really know how the game worked and put a last minute team in. Having 75k on my bench all season is a waste. Looking forward to next year now that I know how it all works :thumbsu:

Murali normally gets his 20 pts for a good economy but not always as reliable in the wicket field. Personally I'd bench him. Tough call tho, you know once you do he'll score 80 and someone else will spud it up, just like Vettori did last round and cost me the highest score for the round to Stingy (you) :)

Yeh he's the one I have benched ATM ...since he's playing tonight I can always take his emergency score if he arses 60+ and trade out Vettori or Nannes for someone not playing this round.

Strange to waste a trade on that. What's the rest of your team and how much cash in the bank, can't you improve somewhere??

Very good all round team - I like :thumbsu:

Hales out, definitely. Too inconsistent. Lynn or White, probably White?
Murli to Bird or Cutting, optionally.

I like your thinking! They are the 2 that I was considering trading out. I read somewhere that White might not play though? I don't mind Lynn as an option, as he's due for a score. Klinger another one I was considering.

I like either Bird and Cutting will toss the coin over those 2... however, who do I bench if I bring one of those guys in? Tait, Nannes or Vettori?

Yep, Klinger is a good replacement but he plays for the Strikers and has no support. Lynn does.

Flip a coin. Tait had a good week last week but can be up and down. Personally I'd open the stats for all three and look at the bar graphs and work out who's been the most consistent. Averages mean jack, especially in this game where someone scores 100 and then 0 so their average is 50. Consistent scoring is the key :)

lol. The classic jinx. Vote against Murli and he comes out firing. Can't win.

i would of done Bravo in for Hastings and R.Harris in for Vettori

What's would have been the point of that when I have Wright & Henriques? Yes I realise Bravo went big last night but I only need 2 starting allrounders, surely the allrounder dept is/was the least of my teams weaknesses? It was great for you that you got it right this time, but Bravo could have just as easily been another Mendis as well.

Yes I can. The plan was always to bench Murali and if he arsed 60+ I would take his emergency score and trade one of my onfeld bowlers to a non playing doughnut. (see earlier post) Just need to decide who gets the chop from f Vettori or Nannes.

Also, I benched Hales instead of trading him out with the same emergency loophole plan. Not sure if I should take Hales 44 emergency points and downgrade Maddinson to a non playing doughnut or upgrade Maddinson to Lynn/White/other hmm.....
