Anyway, Angela did the same thing Alan, Tahlia and basically they all have done and talked herself into being voted out on the couch. Interesting to see her in the new role as long as she doesn't come back as a housemate. I'd hate that.

Good for Ian. I like him.

I liked the ball challenge as well. Was great. Hannah with the crocodile hands that would have made my U13 cricket coach smack me upside the head

Well... I just don't know what to think. I hate the fact that Angela was voted out because she was a playa, unlike most of the corpses in there. But I don't like the contrived feel to this twist. Coincidence that it happened now? I think not. Production knew that Angela was going to be a drawcard for this chance they took in a new BB structure. Maybe she won't get back in, but possibly her sticking around and creating havoc for a while will satisfy the Angelistas.

Ball challenge was great. That's a good BB tactic. Keep 'em on their toes and irritable. The challenge was a bit creative. A simple BB task that even a nerd like Ian could win.

Ok, now Hannah voting for Chad. I guess I haven't been paying too much attention to either of them. She realises that he is in a more strategic position because of his strong group? That surprised me. Gonna keep an eye on her now for another reason besides her good looks. Xavier got a diary room chance. Can't remember what he said. I presume his wardrobe is from Surf Dive 'n Ski. Shane is a spy for Channel 10, I just know it. Why else is he there? Dan needs a head high tackle and maybe a knee to the groin.

And finally... Zoe. Depriving an old woman of her daily cuppa is just plain mean. I liked it. :)

Hannah voted for Chad because Angela and Marissa went up to her and Sarah and said to vote out the boys or else its just gonna be a boys club in here

Chad is clearly a good looking guy and lives a life many would love but watching tonight's episode he doesn't bring much too the table besides his looks.
Wonder who gave him the 4th vote ?

Ang , Marissa ,Keiran and ?...

edit - Just saw Chicagos post , Hanna did.

During the first episode I thought Angela was annoying but she turned out to be the most entertaining one there. They were right to evict her because if she got to the end, she would win in a landslide.

Ian who seems a genuine guy is too naive, he’s being totally manipulated by Dan.

Mat, Xavier, Shane, Sarah and Chad must not have interesting personalities as they aren’t getting any air time. Or editing is not too kind to them. Either way, they aren’t winning.

Zoe and Dan are just muppets of the highest calibre. Would love to see them go soon.

Danni might not have called Garth a snake, but he actually is.

Kieran for a huge fan is not enjoying his time in there. Way too strategic and is just a mess. In Survivor he would be the goat. The one they bring to the end who has no hope of winning. Most of the others are thinking that way too otherwise he would be gone already.

Apparently a lot of unseen footage of Kieren ‘fake crying’ to make the housemates feel for him and not nominate him according to Danni.

I think there is alot we are not seeing that we would have under the old format. Not that the old format was perfect in that regard either.

He is annoying to watch now.

As for Chad, seems like a nice guy but boring.

Most of the cast is boring to be honest or bland at best

Very bland

Yesterday was the first time I heard Shane talk

Allan was annoying and arrogant but would've been good if he was on the show a bit longer (entertainment value).

Thisnis the one disadvantage of in house eliminations it keeps the boring ones in.

True, however we’d get to see more of every housemate’s personality if it was under the old format. This one is heavily edited so they make us see what they want to, making people out to be the villian, annoying, this and that, I don’t mind it but you can see which ones the show really prefers and wants the screen time on them, hence why Angela is still in the game IMO.

Absolutely correct. This isn't really Big Brother, but a new reality series. Maybe it should be called Big Survivor since it encompasses elements of both. I'm trying to like it for what it is now, but am finding it a bit tedious at times because of the mostly meh housemates that we've been shown. It has more potential than I first thought, because the strong and the villainous have given the show some appeal. Get rid of them and you might as well film my life at home and have a big snooze. I still think that having the opportunity to get off "the block" via a Power of Veto challenge of some sort would be helpful, but that would either pack too much into an episode or make each episode the length of the late and great GWTW.

The current US version uses this format and has since season 2 it looks like...

Yes. First season viewers voted and, of course, the one legged guy won. He was a good player, but his disability gave him so much of an advantage with a sympathetic American audience. Season 2 had a format change and it was a real step forward. Having some real personalities in it helped tremendously. The confessionals of Dr Will were hilarious. Them voting out themselves added a new dynamic. It really took off from there. Remember that it was a summer replacement show just like Survivor had been in its first season. Adding the ability of watching the houseguests live interacting 24/7 for a fee became an integral part of the show, especially during a dull, long summer for some. I never got the feeds but was on a site where posters would summarise what happened each day/night and I'd read that. I did like when Big Brother After Dark started. It gave us without the feed an ability to watch live for a couple of hours.

Imagine if the three nominees would have had a chance to get off by winning a mini comp of some sort and Angela won and was saved. She might not have, but it sure would have been interesting to see what she would have done afterwards. Of course there are many other possibilities to make the show more multi-dimensional. Just a thought.
