This sounds like it should be the plot of a film from 2000 starring Mick Molloy.
Random Mick Molloy story. My brother walks up to a bar in Melbourne and Molloy is there,
my bro says "G'day" Mick, Mick answers "na I haven't got time".
It would have been quicker for him to just say g'day, no-one was asking for his life story, dickhead.

It’s respectable but I actually wonder why Stoinis still plays state. He’s a mainstay in Aus white ball cricket and probably could just go and do tge international t20 circuit instead of playing shield. Tho whats the chances he turns back a state contract at seasons end

Strikes me as the kind of guy who probably appreciates getting to spend some time with family in WA.

Should end up with 350+ after being sent in to bat. It’s pretty epic cricket IMO. But it will fail miserably against the Australian attack
I just can't wait to see how the Australian cricket media reacts to their first time properly watching it. If AB hates seeing a thumbs up, how is he going to react to Bazball

Bazball is the best thing to happen to Test cricket since the very first Adelaide D/N test.

Everyone says the Aus attack will kill em but I'd love to see what kind of fields we end up setting once we actually cop a bit of pressure unlike the stereotypical 3 slips and a gully vs a couple of nudgers.

I was incredibly glad they won that Pakistan tour (both the aggro batting and early declaration/s) as a proof of concept. Had Pakistan got home all the oldies would have come in talking about how Border would set them 500 to win in two sessions rather than 350 in 100 overs.

The Black Caps limped to 37-3 at stumps in the day-night Test at the Bay Oval, having been thrust on to the back foot by England’s swashbuckling 325-9 declared.

The tourists raced to their total in just 58.2 overs
Only Pakistan in 1974, at 9-130 against England after 44.5 overs, has ever declared earlier in a Test match, per stats guru Sir Swamp Thing. (England in 1939 declared 55.2 overs into a Test but it was in the era of 8-ball overs.)
