Our whole first choice pace battery is now 30+

We'd be silly not to use the opportunity to start blooding a few new bowlers. I'd be drawing a line through Boland given he's 34 and was poor during the Ashes. Neser is 33, Jhye has obvious injury issues.

We need to blood Morris now and inject a few others around the squad, perhaps a Buckingham or the like.
I agree. Cummdogs been carrying this bowling line up on his back a bit but being the youngest and the captain I doubt either him of CA will rest him. Hoff probably will be the one to go

we just had the literal perfect opportunity to give a new opener 5 tests at home against weaker opposition and there was never a question we'd do it.

best we'll do is send the next in line on a tour where they can carry the drinks for a couple of months

Bought a Scorchers membership for the first time this season (have been to plenty of games but never a member). Been enjoying it so much, the form helps but the atmospheres have also been immense.

Nice to see some recent success at Optus

Reilly Meredith who plays for the hurricanes ? That guy has genuine wheels and a smooth bowling action.

Is he not suited to the longer form ?

Just saw that India score line

Losing 6 wickets for no runs is some sort of collapse

Both sides all out with less than 60 overs bowled total

How often has a side started their second innings on Day 1?

According to espncricinfo, it is also the first time ever a side has lost six wickets for no score.

Hussey thinks Pakistan are favourites.

Interesting take.

Depends on how well we bat today like he said. Pakistan getting to 300 has meant they’re right in the game given the SCG is usually very difficult to bat last on

Even if we make 400 they could still set a target of 150 runs if they apply themselves in their 2nd innings

The innings by Jamal has really set this match up

Hopefully Australia don’t have to bat in the second innings so Warner isn’t seen again.

Okay, Tom Petty.

Good bit of bowling by Salman. He's been really solid all series.
