I looked up one of my unique noms and his trial cancer treatment is working and his brain cancer hasn’t come back after 6 months, great for him bittersweet for me.

Anders Sandberg, a member of 1990s Swedish Euro-pop dance group 'The Rednex' who had a massive hit with 'Cotton-Eye Joe' in 1994. Died on 23 January 2024 aged 55, but no cause of death listed.

I heard he was suicidal, but success with The Rednex saved him.
So if it hadn't been for Cotton-Eye Joe, he would've been dead a long time ago.
