Sven-Goran Eriksson, 76. Felt like it was going to happen soon after his farewell message a few days ago.

Vale Sven-Goran.

He had been in unimaginable agony/crippling pain for so long (sadly like so many cancer sufferers)

He faced his end with so much class and bravery. I know he wasn't a perfect person, but he was so charismatic and a popular figure amongst the global football community.

I am glad his pain/suffering is finally over.

I had lost several cousins/family members to cancer, it literally broke my heart watching them suffer so much in their final months/weeks.
