I'll see you there Luke, but unfortunately I will have to sit out the kick-to-kick, as I'm sure it is impossible to kick in high heels.

And here is your opportunity to change your shoes. My girlfriend always complains about her sore feet in heels, and I always tell her, if you are going to walk a distance, wear something comfortable!! (she never listens of course...)

What about the roomie girls? No reserves on, so what is the story?

I will wear flats if someone teaches me how to kick. This is a really big thing for me you know. Not wearing heels while out on a Saturday night!!

I can certainly teach you how to kick, and I am sure with others showing up our expertise can combine :D

I probably won't be able to get there before 6pm, which is may be too late for the kick-to-kick. And I do have a dodgy old footy too.

Just watch me for an example of how not to kick a footy. You'll be kicking like Nicky D in no time. :)

Great! I'm playing soccer (well, to use the term 'playing' rather loosely) in the afternoon but should be free from around 5:30.

On kicking a footy, I don't know if anyone's been to the AFL Hall of Fame and Sensation in Melbourne...one of the activities there involved trying to hit a target by foot, I didn't make the distance the first few times I tried

Have only just gotten the knack of passing with the round ball, it'll take me a while to get used to a footy!

Age means nothing in footy, looking forward to it. I am in, and I will probably get there sometime around 5 hopefully. Anybody got a footy? PM me for my mobile number for who is going to catch up.

Thanks mate I will try hard to be there at 5pm and PM you for number!

Likely to have a spare membership card but won't know till later!

I also have an old footy.

MsBoob, start selecting footwear now!!!... we don't want you being late do we?:D;)

Errrr... I know you have met MsBoob!

Consider that we might need a drink and brain storm session first!!!.... as I doubt any of us "experts" have ever had to deal with curvatious hips and those weights on the chest... could dramatically effect body mechanics:eek:

I think we're (Soph and I) getting a card signed for Megan's friend who is in hospital, but not sure yet because Megan's kids are sick so she doesn't know what time she is getting to the ground tomorrow.

We'll definitely be at the after match function though.

I should be right to get there for kick to kick. I should be there by about 5:30pm ish.
Where would the after match be? Is the fox-lion near the taxi stand at Fox Studios?

Nice! Bringing the footy?
It is an old synthetic one, but if it's the best we have then yup I'll bring it along. Now to find that pump...

Have we decided on time and place yet, I don't seem to recall one being settled upon.

Nope, nobody has set anything in stone. I was just going to rock up to the oval outside the SCG and ring somebody :p

Please join the Sydney Swans for a post-match function after this weekends game V Brisbane Lions, to celebrate the end of the home-and-away season!

Hosted by Brad Seymour, this event will be held in the MA Noble Dining Room (please note – the venue has changed since previous advertisement in the e-newsletter) and is FREE for all Sydney Swans members. The event will feature player appearances, live entertainment, fantastic prize giveaways and Senior Coach Paul Roos will be in attendance!

Entry subject to capacity.

Nat and I will be there :)

Okay, so what's happening with the meet up?

I'll be at the game but don't think I can make it to the after function because I have to get home quickly.
