That's gotta be the highest xg without a penalty in the PL since the stat was recordedEven in a 3 nil win spurs weren't clinical lol

at 28, the he will come good argument needs to spell the end. Upgrade and we improveTimo Werner is such a head scratcher. He's like the perfect player for the counter attack once spurs are ahead until the final shot/pass and he goes to water. An average paced player doesn't get either of the chances he got but **** you'd love him to get one atleast.
Tottenham don't have the players for that yet. Odobert, Werner, Johnson and Moore aren't gonna be difference makers in games where chances are at a minimumAs good as the United win was, the bigger tests come against the sides who sit back against us or are full on in their press like Newcastle last season
If we can still play well and win under those scenarios then we have a serious team on our hands
Odobert and Moore might become that sort of player, if we see them get regular mins. Capable of the spectacular at lower levels. The other two aren't good against low blocks.Tottenham don't have the players for that yet. Your Brennan Johnson comments not aging well=Great result, great win.
Brilliant to run some kids out and still get a performance. 5 on the spin now? Imagine thinking he was close to being sacked
Haha nah I'll still maintain what I said he's not at the elite level needed for a title side imo but all credit to him, can't do much more than he's been doing.Your Brennan Johnson comments not aging well=
Dunno if I'm seeing this cause I want to or it's true but it feels like he's playing more as a wide striker this season with Kulu doing the progression on that side with Porro. Definitely suits him more. He probably has the best movement in the squad outside of Solanke. What a finish by Johnson. Has his limitations but is elite at what he is good at
I think it's definitely happening with Kulu and Porro able to go wide of him. He still has his nothing moments when he sees the ball on the right wing with a packed defence in front of him. But that's not his problem to solve. He'll never be that player. And I don't think we signed him to be that.Dunno if I'm seeing this cause I want to or it's true but it feels like he's playing more as a wide striker this season with Kulu doing the progression on that side with Porro. Europa and conference different still for me.And to all of you who yabber on about preferring to play no Europe compared to Europa or Conference League...
That's what it's about... Minutes into some exciting youth and fringe players, and building confidence in the way we play throughout the squad.
They showed the picture early in the 2nd half to show it was offside. A worry that took 45 minutes to do that thoughThat's what the Europa league in this format is all about.
Mikey Moore brilliant. He's ahead of Werner!
Lankshear and Bergvall good moments. Gray thrown around because of our poor squad selection but was decent. Ben Davies awful in both positions.
Any idea why their goal was offside? Looked on to me
