End of the day, forest have one good counter that they feed beautifully through to Elanga who scores, Spurs have one great counter, Son doesn't pass to Johnson and hits a piss weak shot into the keeper. That's the difference. If Son was still world class he makes that pass to Johnson who more than likely scores

Kulusevski and Son were embarrassing today. When you're playing against a side that's happy to sit you need individual quality the coach can't make you make good passes.
Those 2 were absolutely terrible and Sarr had one of the worst halves I've seen.

Im sure people will blame Ange but those guys were embarrassing

Refusing to put the ball in the box, trying to pass it in to the net in the last 5 minutes. Does my head in.
And then conceding dumb fouls that allow the opposition to waste time. That is Tottenham chasing a game in the last 10 minutes

I'm at a loss with this team.
Doesn't matter who the manager is next season I'm not sure Son or Johnson should be starters. That's a big problem.

Son's decline is super obvious and Johnson is really only effective when the teams playing well and can find him as a wide striker. The midfield gets bored when Maddison is playing and vacate their positions leaving easy counters. Sarr was guilty of this 3 or 4 times and Bentancur is not a defensive 6 at all so he's invisible on counters.

Think Levy will go the cheaper quicker option and go for Potter or Iraola

And in the immediate term I can see results picking up significantly under both
I don't.
Iraola took time to bed in at Bournemouth and Potters PL record is worse than Anges.

Short term counts for nothing either, they both still are walking into a team with heaps of injuries and a declining best player.

Sacking a guy to try and get a short term bump would be the most spurs thing ever

Took Iraola a while because their style before him was wildly different.

His style is similar to Ange, but has a bit more astuteness and game awareness to it. Because having the 19th biggest wage bill he knows there needs to be slightly more to it than Plan A and doing Plan A better

Short term thinking again.

Dunno if you even watched the game. Spurs set up was fine, they did enough. Individual quality let them down massively.
Iraola isn't gonna make Son go backwards in age, Johnson learn how to play a cross, Sarr to learn how to actually make a pass or Kulu to stop running inside and turning the ball over when you have a striker and winger waiting for a cross and all your players have pushed up.

By all means sack ange and get Iraola or Potter and be happy being a club who's trophy is 5th place

I dont see ange being in Europe at the age he'll need to be to get the project to the level he talks about.

He's at least 4 windows away from being good enough to try and Celtic-Inverness or Roar-Mariners the premier league. The quality of opponents players and managers abilities is great across the 20.

Without having a squad that's purely elite, I think it doesn't work in England.

He'll be fine managing Ajax in Holland. Or one of the top Turkish sides. And managing one of the big 3 in Portugal

He signed the contract and said he was in this for the long haul, he's not gonna walk away from this project until he's pushed.

He will get pushed, for sure.

I think Lange and Levy will see the results and think this guy and this group just can't work against PL quality

Don't get me wrong, I sure can see a path where you have the full backs push wide, son and Johnson go narrow and Bissouma and Sarr both sit while Maddison plays the 10 and you probably get some results with this team but that's it. That's never gonna get near a title.
Son might need to be replaced next year, the RW has no creativity at all, the centre of the park has a stack of 8 types that can't actually sit properly and the defensive depth is terrible. Doesn't matter who takes over this team is miles away from anything.
