Bit disingenuous to compare the systemic doping in America to whatever you think goes on here.

I wasn't comparing the 2, merely suggesting our industry is no shining example for the world to follow. We are all in the same boat more or less, its easier to ignore a problem then work to fix it.

Its not naive. It is perfectly legal in America to dope your horses up with drugs that would be illegal in most other countries.

Calling you Naive had nothing to do with what is legal here or there, people still do the stuff regardless of rules and regulations.

Until a horse gets to the race track they are not tested for anything even once, I hope you don't think everyone just feeds them grass. Even at the race track certain things are still easy to get away with, Bute was still undetectable until just recently.

The common anti-doping program consists of 3 pre-race and 3 post race swabs, thats less then a 3% chance of even being tested if you don't win. Guys like Hore-Lacy, Freedman & Weir who are well known dopers almost never get caught.

What do you really think Crystal Lily died from?

Yeah he is not going to travel here for a $500,000 race. If they want him here they will have to get serious and put up some real money

Im usually fine with people on here but seriously Davis just stop. You like to think you can lecture anyone on here about everything racing just because you are an owner. Guess what? Your not the only one out there. So you seriously think drugs in Australian racing are even remotely comparable to the US? Horses in America legally race with performance enhancing drugs in their system that are banned in most other countries in the world. To compare that with Australian racing is absurd. Im not saying there are zero drugs in Aus and never did but to even try to compare it to drugs in the US is crazy

Haha, can't believe you bought one you numpty :D

Racing Victoria stewards will take the unprecedented step of pushing a runner out one barrier to ensure the safety of champion mare Black Caviar in Saturday's Group II Schweppes Stakes (1200m).
As reported earlier on Racenet, Black Caviar's trainer Peter Moody contacted stewards to voice his concerns about the possible injury to the champion, who drew one gate inside noted barrier rogue Here De Angels in barrier five for the $300,000 race.
"It will be a worry when they are in the gates next to each other,” Moody said. "The last thing you would want would be Here De Angels to try and get in the stall with her and she ends up getting hurt.”
RVL chief steward Terry Bailey contacted Here De Angels's trainer Wendy Roche, who agreed to the stewards' request.
"I had a chat to the horse's owners and we have agreed in the best interest of racing to move out a gate," Roche said.

Bailey said his main concern surrounding Here De Angels's barrier manners stems back to before Roche took over the training of the horse.

"Whilst connections have assured us that the horse’s barrier manners are now satisfactory, based on the horse’s previous history here in Victoria we have decided to move it out one barrier as there are no runners drawn on its outside," Bailey said.

Yes she is a champion but getting special treatment is a joke no other horse would get this sort of treatment

Unusual but perfectly acceptable. The owners of Here De Angels have agreed to it and it doesnt affect anyone else. When you are the best in the world your entitled to special treatment. Ill guarantee we wont have a flurry of people requesting a runner move out a spot in the barrier on the back of this.

Your trying to paint the picture America is the devil and we are saints, if you can't handle someone objecting to that then don't post.

Lol oh dear. No i was not making anything close to that point. I was simply stating the facts that in Americain racing it is perfectly legal to race with many performance enhancing drugs that are illegal in most other countries. If they want to get serious they need to ban them
