Kemp = Has moved to Kempsey or somewhere around there to work on his house. He informed his teammates he would be out for a year at least doing it up.

Hence why he'd be playing for Nelsons Bay. Closer to home. I hear that he would only go on the condition they are playing seniors. No point in traveling a couple of hours for 2's. Also doubt he'd be playing too many away games, especially on the Coast!

Could be a very handy get for the Marlins. Would think he'd draw at least a couple of Citys Raffies with him to cause I know a lot of people have an enormus amount of respect for the guy

Final line was maybe over the top, but was sincere since I can't see why one player would fall out with another after a flag.
But then I suppose alcohol is always involved in these celebrations so anything can happen.
As for it being unfair to name names then it would seem unfair to mention it at all if you're not going to come through with the details.
Flynn is leaving Cardiff Ryan is leaving Cardiff, but would be unfair to say who is leaving City??
Come on man I can't wait for clearances, want to know now, now, now!
Do you think he will follow in Danny Grant's footsteps?

I didnt name names because it only hearsay at the moment. Just a few rumblings coming from within. And also because one of the party is <21 and I don't think its fair on the youngsters. I am sure there is still enough time for wounds to heal but I doubt it.

Mate its about 2 1/2 hours from Kempsey so I wouldn't think 15 minutes extra would draw him to Nelson Bay over City, especially considering his status within that club is well respected as you say.

As for the Raffies, he hasn't been in the RAAF for years and those playing ar City do so because they live in town not the Bay, but everyone has some goss I suppose and it gets the discussion flowing over the off season.

Because at 29 Flynny is completely over the hill. Nothing to do with his young family, business and home being in Singleton

i'd love to know where you get your info from...because if you believe the shit you have just spouted...i've got a large bridge with harbour views i'd like to sell you

Ease up on the condesending use of emoticons buddy. Am only reporting what I hear. Apparently it was an idea from the "director of football" or equivelent (couldnt find a direct contact and title on the hawks website) as to look at adding more pace to the side. Lets be honest, from what I understand Flyn has been in the top grade from a young age and he probably could have contuned on, but i think he made the right decison to go out on top of his game instead of languishing off the bench or in the 2's for the next few years.

As for Dugan and Ryno to Gosford. I have it on good authority that Dugan has all but signed. Not 100% if Ryno will follow. But if he is out of favour at the Hawks I am sure Duges would make him priority no. 1 for recruitment. I wouldn't be surprised if he has a medical with them in the next few weeks and at least entertained the idea..

If Tad Walford is what you call dominating, then I'll turn it up. Lucky his Dad nominated him for the Draft causwe he wouldn't be playing for Sandringham if it wasn't for Bill. Just goes to show it's all about who you know...

Let me guess barto you dont think that LRT dominates for sydney aswell?

Yes he did train there during pre season, unfortunatly for singleton he went away with brasingtons clearance form!!
Think it would be awesome for the comp to help get the Roosters going, throw in Ryno,Haines, Brasington and Braedon and your looking at 2's premiers then hopefully build into 1st grade, would love to see it happen but im not gonna hold my breath

Although I agree with you that to get Singleton competitive would be great for the league, Those three are at other clubs because they have been advised in higher circles that to benefit their careers, its better to be playing first grade, which Singleton dont unfortunately have.

I think every club would like to have him, good player, but It would be surprising to see him wearing anything but Beetroot and Cheese.

Is anyone from Wyong able to confirm that no less than 6 former Killarney Vale players were in attendance at the Magpies first pre-season training session last night??

I knew there were a few issues internally at KV but I didn't think there'd be that many jumping ship so early..

J & J, mate you are really on the game, all the goss on City Cardiff and now Wyong and K/Vale, keep it coming it's entertaining reading thats for sure and the matches if all these moves are true should be pretty spicey.

Why is it such a worry ? you can only play with the cards you are dealt and the players you retain, Ryan will not leave Cardiff, Flynn has retired sure but the major concern of all Clubs is if they have young players coming through, losses are easily filled with quality young blokes.

Keep it clean Fellas constructive stuff is what we need here.

Im not really aiming to entertain. just aiming to inform. Being in (and out) of the rep teams over the years I got mates from all facets of the league...

I think we can all agree this year was a pretty lopsided and uninspiring one. I don't think teams are going to be as complacent as they were previously and aggressive recruiting seems to be the way around it.

You seem to your know your stuff as well. Have you heard any news?

The only news is that your full of S***.Who are you then if you played in and out the rep team?.You must a HACK if you could'nt hold your spot.Talk thats gosford will be struggling next year with the lose of alot of players and more when Duges the hack takes the throne.

You're not still upset about Cardiff getting spanked in two senior grand finals are you mate? You can bag the bay all you like, but they achieved more than Cardiff did this year! Lay off Noodles too mate. He seems like a better bloke than you'll ever be.

Im not too concerned with Cardiff losing a couple of premierships considering ive seen them win 5 times as many as Warners over the years. I think the Medal presentation after the ressies pretty much sums up the bay Barton. Losers even when you win. If only they folded a couple of years back when they nearly did. The league would be much better for it.

Why on earth would gosford what Duges.HIS A HACK.He was the only weaklink in cardiffs line up,but going by their grand final performance there all hacks. As for Duges taking 3 or 4 mates whats the point if they could'nt win a flag at cardiff theres no way they will win one at gosford.
But i think if Duges gets the coaching job many gosford players will leave they allready have to put up with usingtheforce but with Duges and 3 or 4 over the hill arrogrant cardiff players is way to much to handle

I think its " He is a hack" bogan. Yeah and he won 3 premierships so he could improve Gosford. As the name says, YOU ARE A HACK, LMAO @ you.

holy s*** someone from cardiff who thinks there king S***.Nothing but hacks HACKS at that club.SSJUMBO im guess that your a HACK. just like ya mate Duges.
one word sums up the cardiff football club and its HACKS.
I think we have found someone worse then UTF.
SS your a HACK. And for someone over the age of 20 for somebody to say LAMO that just shows how much of a clown you are.
SS i think that tie around your necks abit tight . You should be use it by now though.HACK

Anyways Im off into the Sunset, But i'll leave you clowns with my predictions for next year.

City: will go close to winning again.

Warners: Will talk themselves up and then crumble into an insipid heap as usual. Will blame lack of players throughout the year and then spend the finals on the sidelines yelling abuse.

Nelson Bay: Will win the battle of the bays.

Killarney: Will finish higher than Warners Bay.

Gosford: will also finish higher that Warners Bay.

Wyong: Noodles to dominate and lift the team above Warners Bay.

Crows: Will only finish lower than Warners by percentage.

Cardiff: Will go ok but will only beat a full strength Warners Bay by 99 only instead of over 100 like 3 times during the 2007

good luck and good bye losers.

Swans12, and good on them too. They would be silly not too being young and having great potential, just a shame for the comp but you never know what happens in the future, best of luck to them

J & J, didnt know they were training-they didnt for most of the year!!
Will find out and let all know, sounds bout right as Cutler, Page, Smith etc have trained there before. Would be long odds to play if anything prob players going the other way as i know 1 official and at least 1 coach are apparently!!

Its nothing personal I just saw you play one day at Wyong in the ruck. I was at the canteen and asked who the Lazy big ruckman out there was and a few Wyong Club Officials told me it was Noodles ( I'm guessing that is you ). I couldn't believe how lazy you were and how unwilling you were to put your head over the ball. thats not how I used to play Football back in WA. You had to be strong. Even your own Club people had a joke about you but hey I spose at least you take to the field..... Even if you dont do it very well.

Jumbo, Im glad its not personal and yes i am lazy, it wouldn't surprise me bout club ppl, thats why the club is in the toilet!! They all want too go different ways and dont get along.Yeah i am happy in the 2's as this is pretty much my 2nd sport on weekends

Finally in regard to me not in the 1's, i actually started the year there, got voted BOG in our trial ( 6 quarters straight) had a game with KV, came back and was told you will be in 2's all year by the 1st grade clown (coach). I am a 2's player but regardless of my ability, believe im allowed an opinion, anyway if you listen to nothing else from Barto, lay off Noodles cheers;)

Well Noodles don't be too hard on yourself at least you were out there having a go whilst there were other slangers sitting on the sideline making comments about your form.

Just keep on enjoying yourself mate.

Hey -- Judge and Jury "And also because one of the party is <21 and I don't think its fair on the youngsters. I am sure there is still enough time for wounds to heal but I doubt it."
Can't you give more us more of a hint? I also heard, from a friend, don't know how true it is either, that one of the City's coaches bagged out the other on presentation night.
Is there any truth to this?
Only new to this, so apologies if anything isn't correct.

You know what they say about chinese whispers, the story tends to change from every person to the next. The two coaches in there are like chalk and cheese, one more tactical and the other more of a lad.

There are no dramas from what I have been told and they certainly did the job on all and sundry in season 08. This crap will probably just bind the team closer together in 09

The tall poppy syndrome seems to be alive and well in the BDAFL, maybe Cardiff will get a break now, but then again.
