Why the humble pie? I didn't make any predictions - I tell it like I see it.
I was giving the camera (nothing too special) a go on full-zoom. Was definitely a good game to watch in person.

dm, Swoop, whilst being awesome in the end, was crap in the first half, along with the rest of the Swans forwards, bar Hansen. Everytime we went forward there was only Hansen providing a contest. Now, before you get narky at me, Swoop turned it around and played a very good second half.
As to Swans, well done, you BEAUTY, 20 long years, woo hoo!
What a magnificent GF, 2010 PREMIERS Swan Districts, congratulations.
I think, and you can correct me , but last time Swanees won the flag 1990, the black and whites from Melbourne (Pies) and the black and whites from Adelaide ( Port Adelaide) all won flags in their respective states or comps.

He will get another chance. A nicely lubricated eagles fan near me said " Eagles need a swift Krak, not a slow Swift". That comment summed it up for me.

Went along yesterday, brilliant stuff. The arrogance of the Claremont players (especially the youngens) in the first quarter was quickly put in its place, congratulations Swans.

Yup, that was the year as Dennis Cometti put it, "a trifecta of black and white".
I think it may be a quinella this year too, not that I want it to be.
Made me proud Swans, I love my club, it was sweeter than 82, but commiserations to Claremont, they were the best team all year.
Still, you Tigers are yet to win a flag against us

As an aside, I had a peek at Wiki on the Swans page and it did not have AK as the winner of the Sandover on it till I corrected it.
If anyone can get a team line up of 1990 Premiership side, it would be good to get it up on the page.

Last night, no I was far more reserved. Just enjoyed taking it all in and enjoying the game. Was there with my mum who I have a lot to thank for for taking me to all the Swans games over the years. It was actually her who wanted to go and I was simply going along with her, but boy am I glad I did.
Was actually sitting next to Twomey and had great fun in critiquing his game for some of the night.
Also felt pretty stoked to shake the hand and congratulate Daws, Krak, Clancee, Timmy, Simo, Jetts among many other of the GF heroes.
Still amazing when you know whats happening but you still get goosebumps on the last couple of goals and on the siren. UNREAL!!!

Thats a cool team, few mid/ late 80's names in there. Wish my net would start working properly so i can watch this years, gahhh!!
Spewing I didn't get to get up to Perth for the game, was keen on going but couldn't really afford a hotel room. Still pretty awesome watching on TV

How was the turnout at the GF replay guys? Im gutted i couldnt go
Wasn't as big Spearhead, about 100-150? But the white premiership t-shirts (the clima cool type) were in big demand. They only had the current players there signing stuff (oh, and Adam Hunter if you let him near your jumper with a pen
), with Daws of course. Still a massive cheer and spine tingling whooping when Krak kicked that goal!My sons got their playing jumpers that they got from the Swans coaching clinic signed by them all, bar Hansen and Richardson, I think. They were very excited when Krak signed their jumpers.
