The shit people will defend when there's video footage. :D That racist cop is going to go from thinking he's going to get a nice little nuisance payout to being counter-sued out of everything he's silly enough to have in his name. Imagine siding with that dude! :drunk:

Oh, you mean like the false equivalency bullshit we constantly see from the eternally offended?
Huh? You and this bloke should grab a pint and sit in the corner yelling inanities whilst the rest of us ensure we avoid eye contact.
and the MSM and lefties are quiet. They basically condone violence so long as its against someone who doesnt align with their political values.

Since we all believe perception to be fact, how do you know the officer did not perceive a threat in someone reaching for their pocket?

While attempting to cross into a secure area without displaying ID
Lol. I carry my ID in my pocket all the time like most politicians/staffers/senior public servants etc do in secure areas, when you get to the security you get it out as he attempted to. Can't say I've ever been forcefully shoved while attempting to get my ID out and wouldn't expect any civilised human to defend a racist **** wit shoving someone in such a situation, but you do you. I'm not shocked to be sitting here.

Of course he saw a threat. Big black dude = threat.

What's your justification on the officer claiming concussion from what turned out to be a push to the chest ?

https://www.nbcsports.com/bayarea/w...lleged-masai-ujiri-altercation-has-concussion

The deputy who the Alameda County Sheriff's Office said Toronto Raptors president of basketball operations Masai Ujiri struck in the face is on medical leave after suffering a concussion, attorney David Mastagni told The Associated Press on Tuesday.

Mastagni told KPIX on Monday that the deputy, whose name has not been released, also has "a serious jaw injury" as a result of the alleged altercation.

“The officer is off work, disabled and wants to go back to work,” Mastagni told the AP.

Try just pulling it out as you get there and not stopping for them to see it before you'd have passed them.

You'll get dropped.

He's clearing in the process of showing his ID when he gets shoved the first time, "I'm the president of the Raptors" he says calmly then gets shoved again. Can't imagine why you're siding with the other guy. Can't imagine at all. Have a good one champ.

The phrase "Authoritarian Left" is another one for the conservative projection files.

They run around claiming "lefties" want to live in a militarised surveillance world - similar to China - but when they get a chance to show off their anti-authoritarianism they suddenly go all Linda Lovelace on us in terms of their views of the boys in blue.

lol. Not if the security guard is in any way competent in his job.

Yeah you can argue he should have had his lanyard out, thats fine. The issue is the security guard not saying "excuse me just need to see your ID" at any point. Bloke clearly identifies himself as the president of the raptors before being shoved a 2nd time, would have thought that might prompt the request to confirm ID as opposed to escalating things physically.

Anyone can claim to be approved to enter, their ID lanyard is what shows it.

"Do you know who I am?" isn't an ID.

It's someone acting above the rules for everyone else and only because of the colour of his skin to people make out like it's appropriate.

No, its not. Can you guess what a security guard functional at his job would say at that point? Refer back to my previous post for a hint :tearsofjoy:

Yeah, the security guard would block access and keep the person out without their production of a valid ID.

Continuing to walk towards the secure area should be met physically.

They are paid to act in a no-nonsense manner given the safety of the players is paramount. There is no guarantee the security staff are even familiar with what they are guarding.

Nobody is paid to listen to declarations of being Superman / President of the World / Tupac / Elvis or whatever else you care to name. Show the creds or GTFO.

The security guards blocking the walkway for nothing?

Don't be deliberately dense. Security guards stand in access ways, he was standing there before the guy even came into frame. You can almost forgive the first shove, ID not out, heat of the moment etc. The 2nd one directly after the guy identifies himself and is no longer moving towards the secure area, nah.

I don't see this as clearly racially motivated by the way, its just a guy who is really shit at his job. Any attempt to defend the security guard here is fantasy stuff.

A pocket with a lanyard string clearly hanging out of it.
I have worked as a contractor for the defence force.

There is no such thing as being let through a secure door based on a visible string. You can make all the excuses in the world, but you are required to show credentials at all times. It is even in the contract.
