FMD.. that is disgusting.

Cant imagine why the polls underestimate Trump can you?

Just for anyone who still thinks the left is the side that has reason, compassion and is on "right side of history".

Small groups like that and the ones who were demanding white people give their houses away in a certain neighborhood the other day have about as much to do with "the left" as the Boogaloo Boys do with "the right".

Do you think the cops who shot George Floyd will get off? The ones who shot Jacob Blake? Some cops obviously do the wrong thing and the book should be thrown at them. But the vast majority are absolute heros facing extraordinarily difficult situations and I'll start off by backing them.

I also just think people need to understand the numbers here. Theres nearly 4,000 black on black murders every year in the US. There might be 150-200 black people shot by cops and a fraction of those would be cases where it wasnt necessary to protect their own life.

That means since the day George Floyd was shot there has been roughly 1000 black shootings of other blacks. How many wrongful shootings by cops? We hear everyone one right now. I can think of maybe 4 or 5?

You want to save black lives you are starting in the wrong spot.

Its moreso the incidents like the Breonna Taylor one where no police have even been charged, and by "police" I also mean whoever ok'd the no-knock warrant as from what I understand it happened because her boyfriend didn't realise they were police.

How many of those black on black deaths are gang related? I mean, hardly noteworthy that criminals killing criminals gets less attention in the media than police shootings. Nevertheless, BLM isn't just about policing, they're also calling for education reform, community programs and funding - precisely so that less young black guys end up involved in criminality, so I'd actually argue they are in fact starting in the right spot.

Being disingenuous again?

Video showing clear self-defense.

But Trump, but but but...

This is particularly hilarious coming from the guy that lambasted someone else the previous page for lack of context regarding conclusions drawn from a short video :tearsofjoy:

Why was the kid running in the first place and instantly set upon when he fell?

I am sure you have solid facts to support the reason.

And I am sure that will be looked at, however the fact that he was physically attacked remains.

But one just has to submit and take their BLM beatings, do they not?
Well if he didn't leave the safety of his home in another state to go Wisconsin, then no BLM beatings...?

He had already shot someone when you see him physically attacked in the video.

Yep. This has already been established.

Thanks for reiterating that which has already been addressed.

If you stay at home, you do not have to defend yourself. You heard it here first, folks.

The video that has been released clearly shows self-defense.

Do you believe in vigilante justice?
It doesn't clearly show anything.

Yes I do, in certain circumstances. Not in this case though, the kid should have not crossed state lines with a rifle, illegally open and carry and ultimately shoot other civilians.

So they were not allowed to defend themself from vigilantes regardless of the actions that took place prior.

Wisconsin is an open carry state by the way. It would be good if you did some research before declaring legal bounds.

unless it was a short barrel rifle or something like that that requires a tax stamp crossing state lines is a moot point. his home town of antioch is right on the border and only like a 20-30 minute drive to kenosha where he worked anyway.

Interesting video summarising Jacob Blake situation:

That editing style is straight from the gamer channels on YT targeted for 12 year old kids.

Probably sums up the quality of the content too.

He crossed state lines to get to the BLM protests. He literally just shot someone. Is he not a vigilante as well in your view? Were the people chasing him not defending themselves when he was waving around a rifle he just shot someone with?

You have to be 18 years old to be able to open carry. He was 17 years old.

He is allowed to cross state lines. My point is around his intent - do you think he was entering Kenosha with a rifle at that time of night to go to work?
