I know people want to welcome the new stars to the AFL but cheering them everytime they go near the ball and before they have actually done something can work against them by giving them an overexaggerated sense of confidence IMO. Too many low percentage kicks but he will settle and learn from it.
Bet your fun at parties..

I worry when Conca and Blakely get the ball... Conca is shutting oppos down nicely but he does something really poorly at least once every game, usually results in a goal being in defence.

They all do something poorly at least once a game. We're just more forgiving of some and more down on others for the very same thing.

Understand what your saying but don't agree at least from my point of view. I feel super comfortable with a lot of players decisions, but Blakely and Conca burn it.
Conca gets a lot of holding the ball calls against him in shit spots

Why does Brayshaw sh*t his pants close to goal?
Kicking goals is no where near as easy as it looks. I'm sure if he dedicated himself to it he will improve. But goal kicking doesn't come naturally to a lot (most) AFL players. IMO you're born with goal sense or not. You can work on things like kicking straight but that intuitive goal sense is just something you have. Same with the desire to kick goals rather than pass off the ball to someone else. Natural forwards will always take the shot.
Thing about Brayshaw that I'm sure we're all noticing is that he is very often in positions to score through hard running from the centre. If he could kick a goal a game out of the middle he would be absolutely elite in that area. I reckon he has it in him to improve this part of the game. Will make him and us so much more dangerous.

Is it rude of me to say I don't think Hamling is best 22 any more?

Would you pick him over Ryan, Pearce, Logue or Cox?

I have been thinking the same thing, I was going to say that right now they (Cox and Hamling) are probably even, but then i thought about it and while Hamling very rarely gets beaten (like if ever) his main choice is to spoil, while cox looks to mark it.

i think going forward Hamling is our depth KPD
