Interested to see how this turns out, though it's a bit too close to the release of Dark Souls II for me to be that excited about it. Hope it gets ported one day.

No shame at all!Never say never but I know it's highly unlikely. Shame really.

Sony owns the ip and are co-developing, it has the same chance as Uncharted reaching other platforms.Never say never but I know it's highly unlikely. Shame really.

That's a bummer, exclusivity sucks (when purely exclusive for business motives, not mechanical ones)
Not really.
Not really.
I disagree exclusives are essential to the sell of system, the competition to sell console is what brings forth game innovation and games that otherwise would of never seen the light of day, however exclusivity such as tomb raider and street fighter are cancer. That's a bummer, exclusivity sucks (when purely exclusive for business motives, not mechanical ones)

I'm not sure how you can't see them as such, they've both done so much for their genre. In some regards you're not wrong, but I don't see how Uncharted, Bloodborne etc can be seen as innovative.
For all intents and purposes, exclusives are bad for the consumer. Consoles should differentiate themselves with better hardware and interface, not holding software to ransom.
Yes it does. You're stupid.

Again most console exclusives aren't holding anything to ransom since their entire existence is due to the console manufacturers need to sell hardware. Consoles differentiate them self by selling a whole package, since they can't compete with PC on both hardware and interface.
Would it be better if there was only one platform for gaming? Sure but if that was the case the amount of games being developed would drop
I agree, I am not looking forward to the day when we have a choice of ONE console, which seems to be where a lot of people want it to go to eventually.
What would be wrong with just one console? Everyone would have it and all games could be played. Sounds like a great idea, now that a single console has been mentioned I'm certain EB Games will start taking preorders.
There'd be less room for fresh new games...
While I agree with what you're saying to some extent, this is particularly funny. This gen has been nothing but remasters and sequels.
Yeah, I hate that about this gen so far. Seriously, Remasters of games that came out last year and the year before? It's just a blatant cash grab. I understand if it's something like Resident Evil, but not Sleeping Dogs, Devil May Cry, etc.
TLOU was a good remaster, 1080p/60fps with updated graphics and free DLC and continuing the MP over to a new console.
