curtains for Sam Durdin. Good to see the litany of “Test” as opposed to weeks.

There’s a bit of carnage, but not necessarily the players we expected.

Sad for Nige. Doubt we see him again.

Second hammy for Hudson. Not great. But, he’s young and developing.

Zaccy back for finals.

Thought Durdin was closer, but the shoulder might be season ending.

And we know about TDK :-(.

Assuming our tests get through we still have the cattle to beat Port.

TDK - big loss, wishing you a speedy recovery King. Lucky we have great cover in Pitto and we got the result with TDK on one leg last night (McKay stepped up exactly how we need him to).

I've been disappointed by TDK the last couple of games - wonder if the foot/leg issues have been lingering for a while? He is no brute but he does need to get stronger. His growth area is to become capable of having a monster game while also stopping the opposition ruck from impacting heavily (e.g. when he played his bro among others in that hot streak, he was almost BOG but so were his opponents).
The last couple?
So one game where he sustained a broken foot and collapsed lung, but still managed 15 disp, 19 hitouts and 8 clearances in under 70% time on ground.
And the other where he played 2nd fiddle to Pitto, but still managed 19 disp and 13 hitouts and had the 3rd highest cont poss on the ground?
Tough critic.

It will be the quickest comeback from a 4 week injury when BT says that Sam Durdin has taken a great intercept mark in the backline this Friday night.

Love Nige's courage and commitment. Sadly, another who's body just hasn't been cut out for top level footy. Injuries killed him at North as well.

If we can hold second or get completely healthy while maintaining top 4 for a QF tilt in Sydney or Brisbane having Zac fresh for finals could be huge. Not especially the type who needs weeks to find himself if he can play that attacking role as a small-medium forward.

TDK we heard about yesterday.

HOK the sad one here. He could have really gotten an opportunity before finals time maybe on the west. Instead will be interesting to see what we do with him over the summer
