Teague stumbled on every response to questions about Crippa and his back and looked the most uncomfortable i have ever seen him in an interview. It was like he was debating with himself on the spot whether to be truthful or not. For me that was not a convincing effort from Teague. He certainly is no good at lying. I think the real proof is watching Crippa play.
And the fact supposedly he could not even answer what the injury was from the start of the year. So he either could not be bothered finding out what is wrong with his capatain or he is lying.

seriously?
you're going to believe a journalist’s view?

How many times does Teague have to say it in press conferences? If the club doctors clear him to play and the player himself puts his hand up what’s the coach supposed to do? Say No?

Or, would you prefer Teague tells the press “yeah he’s got a broken back but he’s right to play” thus inviting every Melbourne player this week to hammer him as hard as they can when they get the opportunity.

Pls.

Time for our weekly feel-good story.

"Charlie Curnow rescues kitten out of a tree"

<BF suffers catastrophic meltdown>
Curnow criticised for falling out of tree and breaking knee - "I was rescuing a kitten" not good enough say fans..............

Well the journalists view seems way more credible at the moment Cripps is not lazy and always gives 100% we know that but at the moment struggles to get past a jog, struggles to bend down, cant chase, cant seem to break tackles like he used to and struggles to lay tackles. Is that the Cripps you know? This isnt just 1 week of this we are talking about right?
Cripps cops plenty of attention anyway so i am sure it would not differ much.
What i would prefer is they rest him and get him right because he is lucky to be going at 50% right now. Sometimes players need to be saved from themselves. I would rather 12 games of a 100% Crippa than 22 games of a 50% Crippa.

So exciting but bloody hell I’m nervous about him playing, just got some butterflies even thinking about it...

Kouta is probably my fave player of all time, maybe in a tie with SOS, and I felt physically sick when he fronted up wearing a mattress on his leg in '02

Just get through the rest of the season unscathed, Chuck...

Still amazing that we get told Sunday we have So many inside mids we can't rotate them -- yet we have to play cripps like this .. after Jones ran into him Sunday you could see he changed- also the look on his face was pain . -

Seriously, when we finally decide enough is enough and revolt, the medical department is where we should throw the first burning torch.

So many players mismanaged over the past few years. Mysterious injuries. 2 week ankle sprains that last a season. Endless players who return, play 1 game and re inure themselves. And now this.

It was painfully apparent in round 2 that Cripps was injured and shouldn't be playing. The club were so, so short-sighted and so desperate to eke out a finals win that they played him anyway, Nd for what? So he could hobble at half pace, not chase his opponents and contribute 50% of what he is used to in a 3-5 team?

Not one of those games goes the opposite way without him, and imagine how different our narrative would be now if we had a fit and healthy Cripps returning from a 6 week break alongside TDK and a properly rested Williams and Saad, with Martin and Curnow not far off and a string of winnable games on the horizon. The word momentum springs to mind...

Instead, geez there is a bleak path ahead... Cripps ekes out two more games (a big loss to a rampant Melbourne and a shocker against the Hawks) then packs it in for the season... before taking less money to play for a genuine professional outfit next year in Perth...

We are run by a pack of amateurs unfortunately and this is just the latest proof...
