AND I don't throw my shoes at horse racing events.. mainly because I can't get them offThat's 38 picks higher than what we spent on Rhys Palmer...
... Yep, sounds about right.
If Carlton wanted a footballer who was fumbly and easily injured, they could have drafted me!!!
+Cotts (susp)So if I'm reading it correctly we're expecting only Durdin and Hollands to be unavailable this week?
(In addition to Mirkov being out for the season).
OMG, there's a blast from the past!!Oh, I assumed you were Stephen Kenna.
Nah, he's out for the year - from an AFL standpoint at least. And apparently possibly Philp?, same’ish timeframe (4’ish weeks)
Just a thought - and I haven't met you, so perhaps this is crazy - players can actually.....how can I put this......um....er......improve?Being injured does make the heart grow fonder.
Philp was talked about as a disappointment well before this injury. His skills are poor and he's not clean. He's very fumbly and certainly is not a 1 touch player. The theoretical strengths are great, but there's not much use in having the power to burst from a stoppage if it's going to take him 3 goes to pick up the ball in that congestion - and when he does the chances of him using it well are low.
He wasn't getting a go in the 1s when fit, so coming back from injury he's a looong way back.
I haven’t seen a real lot of him in the vfl but based on what I’ve seen he didn’t give me any indication he will be a player. With most players you can pick up some quality/trait about them that makes you think they will be good in time. I haven’t been able to identify what he might be good at. Some say speed but i can’t say I’ve seen speed either.Philp has played 2 AFL and 12 VFL games in 4 seasons. I don't think anybody can confidently say he's not up to it.
but only if they leave Carlton, because you know, we are shit at development...Just a thought - and I haven't met you, so perhaps this is crazy - players can actually.....how can I put this......um....er......improve?

Hip, groin and foot stress fractures injuries have basically impacted on his career since he’s been drafted…
Thanks, Dr NickJeez, must be painful having stress fractures on all those areas!
Now, in my medical expertise, he is over his injuries, as it started at his hip and ended at his foot. The injuries have completed their journey.

I tore my ACL five years ago.Whilst I haven't been a fan, good to se Zac Williams running at PP today albeit in a straight line but jogging none the less.
I didn't tear my ACL five years ago.I tore my ACL five years ago.
I haven't started jogging yet... You can never be too sure....
