The injury list is becoming a real concern at the wrong time. Cerra, Walsh, Harry, JSOS, Kennedy and McGovern are all pretty much walk up starts in the best 22. Cerra, Walsh and Harry in our top 7-8 best / most important players.

Exactly right.

2022 with 4 rounds to go we had to win 1 to make finals (failed). Better players missed games as follows: Cerra (1), Walsh (1), Kennedy (3), Hewett (4).

2023 with 4 rounds to go we have to win at least 2 to make finals. Better players to miss games as follows: Walsh (2), Cerra (3), McGovern (3), Kennedy (4), McKay (4), Silvagni (4). I bet that's won't be all.

We might be in better form this year and perhaps draw is a little easier than last year's (especially if GC are out of the running before we play them). But we seriously need a win this weekend.

We might be in better form this year and perhaps draw is a little easier than last year's (especially if GC are out of the running before we play them). But we seriously need a win this weekend.

Don't think there is any 'might' or ambiguity about it. We're in much better form this time around and we're playing a much better and more sustainable brand of footy.

Will we get there? Who knows, only time will tell, but we're far better placed to get there this year than we were last.

On this occasion yes losing both McGovern & Cerra on top of Walsh Kennedy & McKay all for multiple weeks it's now a big ask .
As mentioned fully expect there will be more .
Most likely need 2 wins makes this week huge as can't see us beating Melbourne with those outs or GWS in the form their in .
