DC was at the season launch. Hasn’t had surgery, no sling. Club hoping it comes good with physio. Can’t give a timeframe yet but optimistic
That's positive. You would think if it needed surgery they would have moved on it quick. If he can strengthen it up he should be able to get through the season and can always have surgery after if still required.
Good sign he is already out of the sling. If the swelling was bad he would still be wearing it.

Hopefully his shoulder is ok but I’m not surprised no surgery either way.
He has surgery on it now he’s out for 4 months, career done.

Wasn't there talk at the time that it being difficult to get in was a good sign as it means the tendons are still tight?
Maybe that's why they aren't looking at surgery, the level of repair needed isn't necessarily surgery dependent.
But I'm no doc so...

Martin & McGovern and Cunningham, hard to see alot of these guys being maintained beyond this season even at this early stage.
