That would be pretty hard, firstly as there has been about 3k posts in the couple of weeks I was locked in Chief's basement and to be honest, his Wi Fi was terrible.
What I did pick up however was;

I noticed one ot my favourite posters, and one of our Board's great posters, arrow was waiting on some info about a 'big fish'.
The info didnt come though in time, so the good man went the 'Full SOAPY for around 8 pages.. At one stage, im pretty sure he threatened to do something quite unsavoury to his 'source'.



I saw that myblueroan posted in the 'NO Discussion' thread not once but twice! The first time he was all..



The second time he was a tad more nervous..



I noticed our ITK's went pretty quiet. A few unfortunately, grovelled and begged for info, and generally made campaigners of themselves.. Most of us waited patiently..



I read that OOOOOORAZIO and Daniher wanted out of the Bombers. We be like...



I laughed and laughed.. God I laughed. I then read that the Bombers might chase Papley. And I laughed some more...

....Then i read his manager is Scott Lucas..



Then BAM! In the space of a couple of pages, we get told Eddie is a done deal, and if everything goes according to plan with Paperley and Martinerley, a statue of SOS will be erected outside Princeserely Park.



I read Charlie hurt his knee playing basketball. Old mate Percy went the 'let's get rid of him..highly paid players shouldn't do anything but play Atari in their downtime' route.



Then it was pointed out that he was playing with Crippa and Fish. Percy be like..



Lastly, but by no means leastly (does that even make sense?), the best news I read was that HBF and MEB were adding to their family.. Congrats guys..



Then Trade week was upon us (to be continued)..

So that was the worst week of trade period ever. It's going to be a looooooong weekend.

So here's my solution....Go to the search box and look up posts with 'Walsh' by windows1. Read all the pre-season posts (Dec-Jan).

We now all know what we have in Walsh, but read these great posts from before he debuted. Here's a teaser to start you off....

At what point do we reckon Walsh starts tearing teams a new one? I’m suggesting some point thru the 2021 season, and then each year in the decade after that.

I have been suggesting for weeks that we should be looking to get a pick back from the Suns in any deal for Martin.

Glad we seem to be exploring that possibility, though I would prefer to get either 15 or 20 from them this year, rather than a pick next year.

Regardless, Martin + 2020 2nd for our 2020 1st is a great deal if we can pull it off.

I wouldn't say it's a "great" deal, in fact it could end up being in their favour if we don't play finals. Our 2020 1st for Martin and Pick #15, that's a great deal. Happy to throw in a third if we need to.

Ferrisb thank you. I’ve annoyingly blown my own trumpet about this all year. About time someone else did it for me.

On a serious note, I plan to get down to a LOT of sessions this summer. I will be writing summaries that will make Metalcrusher so proud of me.

On a serious note: he had ‘it’ that kid. I’m an old man now. I was actually stunned this website wasn’t exploding with praise for him. I wasn’t being theatrical (like I usually am).

I genuinely expect him to improve this year a lot but it may not be as obvious statistically. But he’s this kid isn’t he: comes in elite, ever so slightly improves each year. Maybe adds 2kg of muscle each summer for 3 years. Slight improvements in run times. Slightly better kicking. Slightly more aggressive positions on the ground to win ball. Slightly more goals. Maybe slightly less in receipt of the short kick. So some stats don’t improve as much.

Just a bit better at everything. Then all of a sudden he’s AA every single year.

Umm that’s a terrible deal, he’s not worth a first.

Should we sneak into the 8 for example, it would be Martin plus pick 20 for pick 13.

With all the different academy and f/s next year, it would be something like Martin plus pick 24 for pick 17
