Yep. The difference between the two picks is about 347 points, or around the equivalent of pick 47. That could have gotten us one player and we'd still have 15. Not only does SOS not get the deal done, but players will doubt him in future and affect us as a destination club. Sometimes you have to lose a trade to win a future bout. Much as i hate to admit it, this is a massive Fail by SOS.

What annoys me the most is not so much that we didn't get the players, but that we put all our eggs in one basket for a player with 3 years remaining on his contract, then no plan B.

Papley obviously hugely disappointing, but what can you do if they refuse to trade him at all if they don't get Daniher? It's really annoying that our Papley trade was linked to Daniher's.
