***************************************************

Just like to thank Aphrodite and the other Carlton mods who started the Bluemours NON Discussion Thread and who have kept it free of chat over the past few years.

It helps so much when you just don't have the time to read through this thread, cheers and great job.

So are you and some other posters here saying that he has two independent sources within one football club?

It is possible HBF, back in the day I probably had half a dozen myself, between players and people who worked at the club.

It all comes back to the original point I was disputing, which was the fact that you were questioning why a player who has missed more than 50% of his team's games over the course of his career would be described as injury prone. I think that would quite comfortably qualify him as being injury prone

Not sure why you need to bring up contracts etc when I was simply pointing out that Murphy had actually been quite durable up to the point of his career Crouch has reached. The syndesmosis injury happened at a later stage
Historical performance is not inherently an indicator of future performance. You need to consider what injuries he had and he has shown recently. If what is publicly known cannot be strung together as a coherent chain of events, then we shouldn't be calling Crouch crocked.

As I see it, his biggest concern is that he has a history of hamstring issues, but until this year that hadn't been a problem for a long time.

I understand there are no guarantees and he may well manage to stay out on the park over the next few years. I'm just pointing out that from my experience, a player who has averaged 10 games per season through 9 years is very unlikely to completely stop getting injured in the twilight years of his career

The fact he missed all of 2018, and 5 games this season show that he's certainly still struggling to stay out on the park

No idea, very possible.

Likely sources:
1. LOB would hear things from other players from other clubs who he played junior rep footy with
2. Soapy attends club events and training sessions, would talk to other regulars
3. Soapy may talk to parents/relatives of other players given they share a common interest
4. Once known and recognised around the club, staff may well talk to him also
5. Teague and Liddle are using him as a double agent to spread misinformation to confuse the other clubs who monitor his BF content

Not sure why you are holding him to having two independent sources from within the club when the same standard is not applied to any other poster.

I think they are crazy unless the get GREAT value. He’s a gun

60+ goals 3 years in a row before this injury ruined year. In this modern low score game. Someone is gonna get a bargain. It won't be us because we don't need him, but someone is gonna reap the benefit of a few people at North not liking him.

What, you think he only gets information from his nephew, and then posts it here?

I didn't realise he had so many contacts within the footy club.
FMD - all I said was to take his posts with a grain of salt.

I'm not holding him to anything. Someone else said he was getting his info from somewhere else, in fact it was two posters.

Could put a Collingwood or Brisbane over the top to win a flag.

Maybe *.
