Incorrect plural of Latin words piss me off eg formulas instead of formulae, forums instead of fora, stadiums instead of stadia, consortiums instead of consortia. Also those who, when referring to a singular, use the plural eg data instead of datum, criteria instead of criterion.

So all this media talk about JDG had me thinking, and I’m glad some of the ITK’s have confirmed it’s a money grab because I think our focus should be on the midfield. But what if this is a ploy by Austin & Co who’ve leaked this info to get the attention of some of those midfielders we have been targeting to make their mind up sooner as we’re showing we’re actively trying to spend our cash to better the club. It seems to have worked on someone like Saad.. Williams is different as he’s a RFA but even so he’s nominated us a long way out

To me teams have just figured him out. He's a speed merchant and doesn't really have a plan B when that doesn't work.

He's not strong, he's not physical, he doesn't enjoy the contests. If he can't simply out run you he isn't going to beat you. Unfortunately for us he can outrun Plowman with ease.

I am willing to sort of excuse 2019 as it was interrupted by the back injury and fitness. And this year was an all-round shemozzle.

Whilst I agree, we havent recruited a lot of players like Murphy. Theyre either more inside, or more outside in natural play style. Its not shock that our recruiting team have spoken about needing that more "inside/out" player in the trade period.

Ideally we can trade our way into a solid starting group and trade out our kids for draft picks which allows us to have the right volumes of kids coming through for the future....the biggest damage from a rebuild is that gap that occurs when teams trade out picks for established players....combine that gap with some bad draft selections and you force the NEED for a rebuild.

Yeah you’re right. We have had a tendency to go after the thicc bois.

My hopes were squarely on Fish to replace Murphy. Quick, crafty and not scared of a contested possession. Guess he’s a forward now though. (Where talent goes to die at Carlton)

Today, forums is just as acceptable as fora, ditto stadiums for stadia...

The others I'd tend to agree with you.
