Folded which is disappointing but that’s the kind of deal you have to expect when you choose to deal with Essendon. We will probably do pick swaps to push up the order a bit this year.

Welcome Adam! He and Williams will be serious weapons off half back.

I'm clearly in the minority but I'm fine with this. Pick 12-13 for Saad essentially isn't too bad considering this may get pushed back to 14-16ish. 10 pick upgrade in 4th round is inconsequential Bottom line is we just picked up two A graders in the trade period - best period since Judd in my opinion. Bring on 2021!
No, you're not the only one, and to be quite frank I don't understand all the melts. Not only did Adam nominate us, which is fantastic, we've got the deal done for a fair and reasonable price. It was always going to be a first rounder, perhaps we had trouble splitting it for two lower picks and had to settle with 8.

It is what it is, and Adam is a great player in the perfect age bracket who WANTS to play for us. Don't need to develop him, don't need to hope he turns into a good player. He walks in a straight up starter and improves us. We didn't need to draft another kid with 8 this year IMHO

Lachlan Fogarty also traded to Carlton from Geelong as confirm Cockatoo to Brisbane for future third. @agerealfooty

You do know pick 8 will be pushed back out of the top 10 after all the academy pushbacks right?

Yes we paid slight overs but hardly fleeced for a player very close to making the AA team.

He is a great pick up.

Yes I read that crap about picks being pushed back a lot.

It's irrelevant, we weren't getting those players anyway so where they go has no bearing on who we might take with the pick.

Using your view pick 48 becomes even more meaningless of a nothing pick back.
