He is worth pick 8 by the way he plays, premierships before draft picks mate.

I think this is OK...it's clear we don't really want many draft picks this year...probably only going to draft 2 players and upgrade Gibbons.
Which makes sense given list sizes will be reduced and we have plenty of kids already on the list not in our best 22.

If it helps at all since realistically most of us don't know much about Fogarty, the Geelong board aren't that thrilled with the deal.

A reasonable indicator we did alright out of that deal.

Pretty much...we've had multiple top 10 picks over the last 4-5 years...and as a base we're salivating over which beast of a kid we're going to pick up next. Then this year we give up a pick in a year where draft picks have much less certainty of being correct, and pick up a solid player with a skillset of pace which we desperately need. Melts definitely not required on this one.
