They are happy to let some fringe players go as they will be under salary cap pressure in the coming years with Brayshaw, Serong, Darcy, Chapman and co on big contracts plus Jackson coming in on big bucks.

Cant see it being much, I reckon a pick above 50. Hopefully we can nab Acres without using 28.

The club has been adamant we are going to the draft so we can't give up 28 for Acres. He has been lowballed by Freo with a contract barely above minimum. They are happy for him to leave so can't expect much in the way of compo - i expect the Jones compo, our third or at worst a future pick

It should be solid. We were forced to delist him over the AFL COVID policy. A player in our Best 22 and required. Not like we just cut sway with a borderline player. League should compensate us fairly.

If we get enough Jones compo to secure Acres that’s a good outcome. Immediate upgrade to best 22 for a player who hasn’t been part of plans for a season.
