Nah, Fly mentioned it at last week’s presser that Bobby had been very generous to his team mates, but deserved to get a lick of the ice cream himself.

I think Fly's comment was more about Bobby getting amongst the goals after giving so many off to teammates.
 
The North game has papered over the cracks that he's had a very very lean 3 months.

9 goals from 12 games (if u exclude the Norf match) and turning the ball over a lot. Not the type of form to be demanding a massive contract increase.

We need to start using Bobby up the field more as a high half forward/wing rotation. Not sure what’s the point of playing him as a drop forward wrestling with a bigger forward when we don’t move the ball quick enough or deliver the ball cleanly enough to expose that one on one.

He's a good player for us, but he tries to be too cute too often at the moment. He'd have 30 odd goals now if he was more selfish in the fwd 50.

Been saying it for weeks. He’ll live and die by playing with flair. You just know internally they’ll be telling him all the cliches about playing to his strengths and backing himself in. Great! But if you’re getting 8-10 touches a game, please hit the target at least 5 times.
 
Bobby has been ranked in the bottom few players for weeks now.
Tonight he had a SuperCoach rating of 20. Reef, our lowest, was on 2.

To keep it in perspective, Beau McCreery is ranked lower, but that's not saying much.
Oleg Markov and Charlie Dean are ranked higher than both Bobby and Beau.

Those stats paint a very clear picture of our impotency this year.
 
His last 3 months have been very poor. His footskills are dreadful right now, everytime he gets the ball he tries to do a miracle and it goes to no one or to the opposition.

Someone needs to tell him he's nowhere near an AA small forward and just play the percentages sometimes.

He's literally had 1 good game in his last 10, against North Melbourne

Yep. The showboating has to stop. Just do the simple things well, Bobby.
 
Anyone else notice that in the last 5 seconds of the game he received the ball, and then instantly reached for his hamstring?

God help us.

As an aside, we’re playing him too far away from goal.
Every opposition team would be happy to see him on the wing.
