There’s also a ladder, since TB runs a free-for league as well. It goes game by game.

Becoming a landowner, there's a lot more to contend with. There's the land, the things on the land, the stuff that comes with the land, the stuff that falls on the land... anyhoo, you get my drift. I'm a few rounds behind in this season's Free Kick Table, so I'll chuck a couple of updates in for you beginning with round six.



The hot takes are:

• Bears had their first loss, so surprise surprise the only undefeated team left is the Roys, who have received the most free kicks and have conceded the equal second fewest;
• Dragons and Gumbies have the greatest home ground advantage when it comes to qumpiring, while the Furies do better away from the dumpster (which still isn't that crash hot tbh);
• The Dragons-Furies match was the only one where the free kick winner won the qooty match.

The jostling for positions for the Two Spoons trophies is settling down, with a settled top 5 in both for the first time this season.



Supersuns is making like the dish and continues to run away with the little spoon. Daylight is second, then a group of four players in Millky95, Matera92, GWS Goose & newcomer to the rankings Pugsley are separated by one free kick.

Despite being in the top 4 team wise there are two Dragons leading the Big Spoon board, with Ljp86 and HawkAussie overtaking previous leader DockerDen5215. Santoz (RIP) & Western Stand Warrior share the podium step with Den.

What's going on?

• Another week of Roy domination of free kicks;
• Demons and Swamprats are rising, Dragons and Bears are falling;
• Wonders are off the canvas;
• Bombers are still stone motherless.

Individually:



There's been some movement on the Little Spoon leader board. No, Supersuns is still way out in front (like his peen-kissed team). And most of the usual suspects are there (including GWS Goose Millky95 & Matera92), but it's Demon skipper and Murray-masked moderator manangatang who shot into joint second place thanks to an astounding seven frees for!

It's a tighter race for the Big Spoon, and Bear Western Stand Warrior has made his run with three frees against to top the board from HawkAussie, DockerDen5215, Ljp86 & Santoz (RIP).

Here's what happened.



Hottest of takes:

• A Royal Commission has been set up to investigate the correlation between Roys FFC and free kicks;
• All matches had the winner of the free kick count also winning the qooty result, apart from the Furies/Wonders who drew their free kicks;
• The average ladder variance between free kicks and qooty results blew out by 1.5;
• Dragons are in free fall, proving that form is temporary and shithousery is permanent.

The Two Spoons are looking like this:



Millky95 is catching up to Supersuns in the Little Spoon race, while Riviat has rejoined the top 5 alongside teammate GWS Goose and young manangatang.

Millky95 isn't done there, racking up four frees against as well to sit in the top 5 of the Big Spoon race, a feat not seen since the efforts of the cursed serial_thrilla in season 30. Western Stand Warrior still leads the Big Spoon by one from Millllky and rookie sensation DockerDen5215, while the Dragon duo of Ljp86 and HawkAussie round out this week's top 5.

Howdy nerds. Well we're halfway through season 31, so let's see what the free kick table looks like.



Here's Bob's Hot Takesᵀᴹ:

• Hell has officially frozen over. Roys didn't win a free kick count, however their 15-15 draw with the Wonders leaves them as the only undefeated team;
• The Furies and Bombers continue to hold up the league;
• The Dragons are officially in freefall, and the Warriors are not far behind them;
• The Hawks on the other hand are the big improvers, rising from 8th to 2nd in a couple of rounds;
• There's four points separating 5th and 12th with 3/4 of all teams in this range on 3 wins each, highlighting how close the ladder is (unless you're Roy of course).

In the Big Spoon race, Western Stand Warrior is pulling away slightly from DockerDen5215 Millky95 and a heap of Dragons (Ljp86 Matt_352 & HawkAussie).
