Lining up on them this weekend will be two of the AFL's most understated players, two men who don't crave the limelight or the millions, both having turned down lucrative offers from rival clubs in recent years. Harry Taylor and Tom Lonergan just go about their business, rarely losing marking contests, keeping their opponents quiet and help setting up attack from defensive 50. They are master craftsman, who do their jobs exceptionally well. Although beyond that, Lonergan is an incredible story of resilience and perseverance. Losing a kidney and being placed in an induced coma, almost losing his life. To come back and play AFL, winning a premiership is incredible.

Despite Geelong being the underdogs this weekend I think every good and decent AFL fan will be quietly hoping Lonergan and Taylor keep the Bondi Millionaires goalless.
