Zombie Island DLC on Borderlands is one of the funniest story lines i've played in a video game.

Looking forward to DLC on this one, though need to finish the game still.

Anyone on BF had the badass reset problem yet? There's a lot of people complaining about it, still, on the official forums. Way more than GB's 'rare bug' charecterisation would indicate.

For various reasons I haven't played this yet, (despite pre-ordering) and when I saw that news come out two or three days after release, I decided to wait untill they patched the bug. I lost a 50 hour char on BL1 through corrupt saves and am not going through that again.

Since then though there has been pitiful communication from GB and no sign of a fix. More and more people get stung every day, on all platforms, in all game types. Every new DLC/update has bought another wave. people are losing skins/heads/badass/keys/dlc and I don't want that to happen to me.

I've had my skill tree reset a number of times, but my badass rank has remained fine. It would suck immense balls if it were to go, but I wouldn't let it stop you from buying and playing this incredible game.

I had my skill tree reset, only after finishing the game for the first time. When I went back into the first playthrough it reset but no other issues.

So the DLC is out now? Might have to download that later.

Mine's never reset either. Would be shattered if I lost both my skins and BA rank. Seems like a ton of people have gotten this bug (N)

More concerned about the drop rates. They're borderline Diablo 3

It is in the PS Store now, I had to download some new software because they have upgraded the Store but now it won't accept my purchase anyway so I will get it another day.

It's about 1.2 gig too.

Might get this after exams, so not for another 4-5 weeks. Was reading through the thread a bit, is it shit to play solo, do you need to play with a mate from the start to enjoy it? Didn't play the original Borderlands, either.

It's not terrible, but it can get frustrating at times. If you level to far ahead of the game you slow your leveling up down to a crawl but if you try and go the other way it is actually pretty difficult at times.

I had parts where I got frustrated but now I'm on my second play through and I say I would have between 60/40 - 70/30 split between solo and co-op. It's more so that when you're online with mates it's a lot better.

I've always played it co-op but the enemies do scale depending on the number of players (so does the loot). It's a lot easier with 2+ people because you can get revived instead of relying on second winds (kill something while downed to insta-revive yourself)

When did you try adding funds? I tried last night and had the same problem!! I wonder if it has anything to do with the new Store?

In saying that, my mate managed to add funds no problem last night.

I tried around 5 pm WST and also tried deleting and re-adding the credit card with no luck so I'm thinking it's something to do with the Playstation Store. Guess I'll have to buy a prepaid card

Give it a go tonight, the store had literally just been up and new for a very small amount of time. The issues that were happening last night should be cleared up by now.

I added funds late last night.

Downloaded today and initial impressions are good. Looks like it's a pretty substantial chunk of gameplay as well, which is great.

Had no clue the Playstation Store was that new. Hardly ever go on it TBH.

On a side note, it looks real nice. Hope we get the PayPal option that some countries have ATM

I can finally go back to my Zer0 tonight. New patch apparently fixes the PS3 crash bug

Anyone else grab the DLC, I've been getting a lot better kit over the last few hours.

Am level 40 but reckon I'll wait a while before I use my golden keys. Try and use them all between levels 45-50.

Made a rookie mistake; hired it for three nights, so trying to smash through the main story line - but I'm getting absolutely r*ped, constantly.

Going to do side missions to buff up for a bit.
