Pretty clear St Kilda would have agreed to pay what Fremantle would require. Do you think they are going to stagger around in shock because Fremantle are asking a hefty trade price? No one would be in the least surprised.Pretty clear that Freo will have already agreed to do this in principle.
Saints first 2 picks you'd reckon....Otherwise, no dice.
You mean 5 and 55 why not.
Saints paying overs, but we are chasing him.
We rated Hanners highly enough last year to offer him $800k+ on a long contract, o glad we were happy to pay pick 4 for him based on a big contract last year. Why wouldn’t pick 5 do it?i would have thought the Saints would be happy to pay that given they rate the player so highly to pay him $900k pa on a long contract. Not sure he is worth much more than that.
You can pull out anytime if you don't agree with the value. Is very normal just look at Tim Kelly trade last year. The only different is B.hill still under contract next year.We rated Hanners highly enough last year to offer him $800k+ on a long contract, o glad we were happy to pay pick 4 for him based on a big contract last year.
You comprehend that we aren't actually negotiating and we are just talking shit on a forum right? You can pull out anytime if you don't agree with the value. Is very normal just look at Tim Kelly trade last year. The only different is B.hill still under contract next year.
yes i have....You ever visited the StKilda board?
You comprehend that we aren't actually negotiating and we are just talking s**t on a forum right?
For sure the Dogs are in the same boat if a Quality player nominated us,it would damage the brand significantly. As a "smaller" club we are already up against it to attract quality. So if one does nominate have to find a way to get it done, or making it even more difficult to get a chance at the better end of the market. Rather just having to settle for the Moneyball type trades.I think the trade will happen. Saints have made such a show about having a quality player finally nominate them, they'd be a laughing stock not to get it done. There might be a few on here surprised Hill didn't leave for single pick, but no way Saints let this fall apart.
Lol Hanners was a Salary dump, and Saints ran with it. Hill and Hanners situation are nothing alike and therefore deals will be different. We rated Hanners highly enough last year to offer him $800k+ on a long contract, o glad we were happy to pay pick 4 for him based on a big contract last year.
First came to Melbourne 11 years, I went a game binge seeing a lot of games. Sometimes, watching three games in a weekend.wow deep burn there ....
A lot of half backs in Young, Ash, and Gould. What player types are available at 5 and 6? Be handy for freo to get a couple of mids to add to Cerra and Brayshaw a couple of years ago.
He's not. But look at it this way. Freo are losing 2 wings - Saints will have Hill and Billings. Where would Acres rather be next year?If Acres is so bloody good why didn’t he finish in the top 10 of the B&F? He played 19 games this year, is in his 6th season of AFL. Averages 16 disposals in 2019. He is a salary dump for St Kilda that’s it.
