Personally i think the incident is worth 3 maybe 4 weeks. However if you consider Pickett got 6 and had a much better record Miller should probably get 8.

Bout 4, deserves to go, was given one too many chances and needs to go back and concentrate on attacking the footy.

4-5.

The offence itself is probably only worth 2 or 3, but he's a repeat offender this season. Needs time to go off and think about what it means to be a tough footballer and how to better throw his weight around.

Almost exactly what I thought - I'm scared!! ;)

6.

Will get three though.

adding the 98 activation points from his poleaxing of ottens I imagine he'll have over 500 points...

however, unlike port melbourne won't be stupid enough to go to the tribunal with it, so you can reduce that by approx 25% is it? meaning he'll end up on about 350+ points...

he'll be lucky if he get's 3 in the end. We'll see though.

He's not aboriginal and he plays in Melbourne and there's not much in it. Should only be 2.
Yes everyone is out to get Port.

Pickett got what he deserved. Hopefully now he will play the ball and be remembered more as a ball player rather than a guy who liked to iron out people who weren't looking.

Port didn't have the option of not going to the tribunal. If you get over 500 points or whatever it is you go there straight away.

Personally if they use the points system I don't see how they can classify it any differently to the Pickett incident. The only questions are impact and intent, and both of those are pretty similar. Impact probably greater if anything as he hit McGregor in the head causing vision trouble.

its unfair that they would try to make an example of a fair player such as Miller, he wouldnt hurt a fly the poor lil guy and all you people are abusing the little tacker. Seriously Miller is as soft as a babys bum why would he want to hurt/crush/break or maim someone? thats not like him? :D

when i was @ the game i thought it was pretty bad... but seeing the replays it's not as bad as i first thought... he actually came through with his arm, not his entire body, therefore the contact wasn't as forceful as say pickett's...

i think with his previous 90 odd points he'll get two...

Picketts actual contact to the head was minor. Miller has left McGregor needing an injection to overcome dizzy spells and blurred vision.

for consistency he needs minimum 5.

Reckless, high, during play, moderate impact. 3 weeks plus one for his other points. Four weeks. Harsh I think but that's the points system for you.
Offence deserves 1-2 IMO, and he will get 3, due to his additional 90-odd points.

I reckon they'll classify it as intentional as opposed to reckless - 6 weeks.
