We already know Sheedy isnt a fan and he was seen at the game tonight looking quite furious shaking his head.
Won't be long til he starts pushing for Hird.

he got appointed in September, htf is that not a full pre-seasonUmm he hasn't even had one proper off season and pre season to do anything.
That makes no sense...Brad Scott not happy when Essendon were 11-5 … he is happy now because they are where they should be . ???
Pretty much what he just said.
Both Ross Lyon and Brad Scott has full.pre seasons yet despite all of the injuries, the Saints are playing the finalsUmm he hasn't even had one proper off season and pre season to do anything.
Indeed it is. I couldn’t see Jack ball ,so transferred to Moonee Ponds Bowls ClubWindy Hill?
That's home of Essendon Bowls Club.
I agree , needs at least another 5 year extension on his current contract, l believe he has it in him.Umm he hasn't even had one proper off season and pre season to do anything.
It is discussed in another thread but the rationale behind retaining Heppell could be to provide stability and leadership at a time when a lot of changes are occurring. I guess we will soon see.
Just 1 will be enough for him to be signed for lifeHe is gonna be there for a while .
If Brad Scott achieves half the success he did in his 10 years at North Melbourne, that means 2 finals wins
As long as Lloyd wants himEssendon have gone backwards … rumblings at windy hill.
Does he get another season?
Only for clubs that the AFL helps out
When Board member Sheedy felt it necessary to go to the media to say he supported Hird over Scott, the club should have asked him to resign. As i said before Essendon have yet to move on from the drugs scandal fiasco. Sheeds is still loitering around the joint as well!
Until those issues are resolved then it doesn't matter who the coach is, Essendon will be a club that'll continually be set up to fail imo.
Obviously Carlton has been through it's issues as a club as well, but i do feel that unlike the Bombers we've finally moved on from them.
Considering how strong Essendon were in the late 90's and early 00's, not winning a finals game for almost twenty years is a shocking statistic.
I'm sure things will turnaround at some point, but between the hangover from the drugs scandal, Sheeds and Dodoro etc, Essendon have some big calls to make as a club imo.
He is on a four year contract and it will take time to turn things around. Essendon’s 9-6 record at one point has resulted in people getting carried away. The list is not that good and now that Scott has had a season to look at it, expect a few changes in advance of next season.
