Sack the campaigner now.

It will be the only thing they have done right all year.

Bloke should be nicknamed the termite. Destroys any foundation the club might have had.

Scrub his name off the locker while they are at it.

Could be the guy the kills this club, with his idiotic decisions.

We lost Thomas basically our best and most creative player, Logue out injured, Goater out, McKay left. Im no entirely blaming Rawlings athough he may have got Fisher and Stephens totally wrong.
We allowed McKay to leave. We bent to Port's will in setting a price for JHF.
We paid a king's ransom for CCJ.

We knew half way though last year we would not have Logue or McKay at round 1 2024 and our resolution was to go to the vfl/sanfl.

We are stacked for mids and yet have zero depth in any other position.

Tucker is crap. CCJ is terrible. Biggie has no clue. The contracts to some of the existing players.

Not much point keeping him beyond this week. He won’t have this role at the end of the year and we should actively be looking for his replacement now.
He will never work at AFL level again.
This is always the judgment on these pretender types. Will another football club grab them if available? Absolutely not.

Unfortunately for us, this is just not a position in a footy club where near enough is good enough. You need one of the absolute best in the business or you’re just making up the numbers.

All of the strong clubs have people in the head of talent I.D (whatever the role is called in individual clubs) that are clearly excellent at the role. Geelong and Sydney exhibit A, and despite what we like to think, has had way more influence on their continued success than other factors.

When the pies had a dude who made a number of heck-ups, they sacked his ass.

The Demons had years of top picks from 2008-2013, most of which didn’t even last on the list for 5 years, let alone to 2018 - the first year they made finals. They pretty much instantly turned it around from when they got Jason Taylor.

Carlton unsurprisingly turned it around soon after they kicked Silvagni to the curb.

These examples are not a coincidence.

Sorry Brady, thanks but no thanks for your service. And good luck in your next role as Director of Golf at Tirhatuan Park Golf Club.

We need this piece of s**t out of our club immediately.
No ifs or buts.

If we thought Luff was bad, this campaigner is worse.

All his picks and selections and decisions are cancerous and setting us further backwards.
There isnt going to be a football club to support on current pace.

Enough is enough. I want the mother*er gone in the morning.
F***ing fraud.

Michael Barlow has been there 6 months and can see what a shambles the list is.
Our biggest mistake was not moving this campaigner on after the 2022 review.

Shame on all of you who backed him in.
The reason he wasn’t moved on as his mate did the review in Geoff Walsh and OUR so called Board can’t make hard decisions especially when it effects mates.

Rawling, step on up to the Alter of Sacrifice. You’re next brother. Yah should’ve been moved on after you were demoted from the GM of Football. Incompetence best sums up your tenure. Your handiwork is there for all to see. But don’t worry. Your lazy mate will be joining you. At least you’ll have company. The fact that have been kept on for as long as you have is an indictment on others. But at least they kept one last sacrificial lamb up their sleeves. :stern look

Are we?
its an area of the ground we get constantly smashed in, we may have over invested in mids but we certainly ain't stacked in that category, way to many passengers

The list balance is horrible and it’s been known for years.

You can keep hanging your hat on taking the best available, but look where that has us now.

We are literally pinning our hopes on an injury prone guy in his first year in the role, a guy coming back from a knee reco and an 18 year old kid.

Any way you look at it the negligence started with Luff and his comical thoughts around Matt McGuiness being a KPD and has continued with Rawlings. The one common denominator is all of this is Rawlings. He’s been there through it all.

Time to get serious and tell the bloke to clean out the desk.

Started with Luff?
FFS we haven't replaced a small forward since L.Thomas, that's 7 years ago.

Small forward aside. The biggest imbalance this list has is its key position prospects.

I know it’s not the easiest of gigs to attract talent to a small struggling club, but we also have let some walk out the door along the way.

Im ok with the McKay call and think along the way the decision gets vindicated, but not fighting to keep players like Tarrant because of a simple contract dispute was a massive mistake.

He was at the end, but looking at it now the stability and guidance for players coming into the back half he would have brought was just what this club needed.

Compare what and Auden Corr brings to what a Tarrant would have brought. Chalk and cheese. We essentially have inexperienced players learning off a guy that has NFI himself.

Callan Ward.

Hard headed, respected, gun veteran, still playing well.

Make him a playing/coaching offer over 2-3 seasons.

He's seen all sides, started as a young gun surrounded by talent at GWS, saw what it took to bring them through.

Would be the perfect fit.
