Ladson = Leaving?
Rick Ladson has told the Hawthorn FC that he wants a trade to either SA or NSW. Ladson, 24, was a key member of the Hawks 2008 premiership team but he just wanted to move. "Yeah, I think one of those states are good", said Ladson, "I just feel like a change of scenery, but I definately don't want to play in WA."

Demons trade picks for finals berth in 2009

Melbourne has aquired the services of superstar mid Daniel Kerr, forward Daniel Bradshaw as well as Pick 36. In exchange it traded away Pick 1, 17 and Rivers to the Eagles. Aaron Davey + Pick 19 have headed north.

Carlton are excited with their new forward Ben McKinley, who has reuturned home from WA. In return for offloading the young forward, the eagles were delighted in recieving the services of young gun Paul Bower.
 
Fremantle looking for picks
Fremantle are looking for 3rd and 4th round picks. Players including Murphy, Campbell, Thornton and Gilmore are all on the table cheap.

While Des Headland and Chris Tarrant are on the table, for second round picks or young players.

The Swans have shown interest in trading Nic Fosdike, a member of the losing 2006 Grand Final side to the West Coast Eagles. Fosdike himself has expressed interest in playing in South Australia or Western Australia. Coach Stat Machine has expressed interest in a young player or a second round draft pick in return.

TRADE CARLTON/FREMANTLE

Young emerging ruckman Robbie Warnock's desire to come home to Victoria and play with Chris Judd has been successful with Fremantle and Carlton reaching a suitable deal. Carlton has parted with WA young gun Steven Browne as well as Pick 24 and Pick 40, In return the recieved Robbie Warnock and Pick 60 as a sweetner. Brett Ratten was quoted saying "The Coaching staff and myself are very please to have Robbie on board, we are excited and we wish Steven Browne the best of luck at his new club." It is also believed Cameron Cloke wants out as he believes he wont be getting many opportunities in the near future.
 
MELBOURNE TRADE WEEK ANNOUNCEMENT

With Melbourne adding Daniel Bradshaw, Daniel Kerr, Kris Massie and Andrew Raines to their list and having lost only Aaron Davey and Jarrod Rivers (+ draft picks), the current list is looking a bit too full. Melbourne are now looking at doing some 2 for 1 or even 3 for 1 player trades in order to decrease numbers. All reasonable offers will be considered – especially for a decent ruckman.
 
Richmond have announced a deal has been agreed for Andrew Raines to head to Melbourne in exchange for picks #35 +#51, Richmond are keen to bolster its young brigade in the draft being th last uncomprimised draft before GC17 enters the draft next year.
 
Busy day at Fremantle
Fremantle have traded fringe player Daniel Gilmore for Pick 60 from North Melbourne.

Robbie Warnock has gone to Carlton along with Pick 60, for young midfielder Steven Browne, Pick 24 and Pick 42.

While, Steven Dodd and Pick 42 have gone to Brisbane. In return Fremantle have received exciting tall forward Mitch Clark.
 
Cheap Fremantle players
Fremantle players Adam Campbell, Ryan Murphy and Scott Thornton are all looking for trades. The Dockers coach is believed to be happy to accept a pick in the 30's or 40's for each.

Fremantle are looking for a big name midfielder to add to their squad. Anyone with a gun midfielder up for trade, should contact the Fremantle coach.
