So you are starting to think you were wrong
No I don't think so? I along with 99% of posters were saying the same thing, where have you been?

Ok today, needs to sharpen up below his knees still.

I still stick to my original post, need more reference of data before we claim him as a Brownlow medalist

Yeah. I don't know what their agenda is but it makes this board unbearable at times.
For some their default position is, what can we say is wrong first.

nearly as good as when he ran back opposed to stevie J got the spoil, picked up the loose ball, sprinted away from stevie J and hit up sidebottom on the wing!

This was a brilliant piece of play which ended in a goal.

Of all the baffling selection issues we've had this year, backing this kid and picking him week after week is one thing they've gotten right and it's really starting to bear fruit.

I'm very bullish about his prospects.

Both Maynard & Ramsey have big futures as running backmen for years to come.
Both can defend 1 on 1 & have speed & foot skills & are not afraid to take the game on.
Maynard will have the odd brain fade & have days were he lowers his colours, but he is developing beautifully.
With Reid & Howe also down there our backline looks promising. Sinkers also gives us speed & run.
Didn't include Scharenberg because I haven't seen what he is capable of yet.

I've been critical of Buckley, but I must say I really like the re-shaping of this backline.

Last year, we were going in with Brown, Frost, Toovey, Williams and Goldsack.

It was just an uninspiring backline with no real flare or skill.

Compare it to this year where we have Reid, Marsh, Howe, Ramsey, Sinclair and Maynard. All of a sudden there is some real talent there. Marley Williams is still in that side as well. Taylor Adams looks good back there, and Scharenberg can still add another dimension.

The next challenge is to work out the best forward line mix.
