There's no need. We have Wills who is a massive step up on Sier. He'll be delisted and no one will pick him up don't worry.Throw him to the wolves....just play him.....in rd 22 or 24 whatever it is these days

Would have thought the fact he was a late pick would make people more likely to be calling for his head.Swan was pick 58.
Of course no one was calling for dismissal.
To even compare the pair shows ignorance of the system.
Agree another year, he is cheap plus may as well see it through. Hopefully sans injuries.I'm as puzzled as anybody about this kid. Every single time I watch him at training I'm taken by his smooth movement and fabulous build. I can imagine what a silky on-baller he could be. But as I continue watching I conclude that he rarely gets his hands on the ball other than in drills. When it comes to match play, runs around and rarely gets the ball. Now this could be that he has had such little time on the track that his teammates don't 'see' him, but they see McLarty and Liam Mackie well enough. Mackie was a ball-magnet in the preseason.
I'm beginning to think that he doesn't have footy judgement; he doesn't have the instinct if you like, of anticipating where the ball is going to end up. He's still only 19 though, so he gets another year for mine.
You keep saying cheap but I really don't see why that would come into any consideration when a draftee would be equally as cheap.Agree another year, he is cheap plus may as well see it through. Hopefully sans injuries.
It reminds me of something Knightmare uses as an expression at times.
Allergic to the ball.
Let's hope that's not the case, because would it not be nice to have smooth beast like player on our hands.
Because one is in system looks big looks smoothYou keep saying cheap but I really don't see why that would come into any consideration when a draftee would be equally as cheap.
He also looks like he can't touch the ball. But that's not my point, price is irrelevant because the player replacing him will be equally as cheap.Because one is in system looks big looks smooth
Been injured lots
So that seems like he might make it but if not, ce la vie ce la guerre
And that's a fair enough assessment too.He also looks like he can't touch the ball. But that's not my point, price is irrelevant because the player replacing him will be equally as cheap.
I'm also not sure looking smooth is that great a quality, Swan looked like a duck when he ran.
Should be delisted and re rookied depending on what's available IMO.
We need to start recruiting footballers with pace rather than athletes trying to be footballers.
Feels like we went that way last year, hopefully trend continues.
Regardless of how big this kid is and how he moves , if he has no footy brain then delist if he has shown nothing at a second tier level
Didn't he have 18 disposals from 3 quarters last week? Granted, the opposition was rubbish, but it would be nice to see what he can achieve with a clean run at it before writing him off completely. He also looks like he can't touch the ball. He's bigger than Maynard.People keep mentioning his "size", anyone have recent photos? If he's anywhere close to Maynard's size, that would be beneficial.
Nathan Freeman might have less.Probably the one player that has the least on field footage available for viewing

Yes, seems to be in better shape now.
Look forward to some games in 2017.

So he's starting to show he can find the ball?Didn't he have 18 disposals from 3 quarters last week? Granted, the opposition was rubbish, but it would be nice to see what he can achieve with a clean run at it before writing him off completely.
5 cm taller and 5 kg heavier. He is not a lot smaller than Cripps from Carlton at same age. A little shorterPeople keep mentioning his "size", anyone have recent photos? If he's anywhere close to Maynard's size, that would be beneficial.
Would you put him on the rookie list, or keep him on the senior for one more year?Posted last week he should tackle more, 8 tackles to go with his 17 possessions this week. Good work! Consistently gathering around 17/18 possessions a game now. You would hope he pushes up into the early twenties next year and by the time he is 21 should be averaging around 30 possessions a game in the VFL and eyeing a mid field spot in the AFL. Coming along nicely!
