The thing working against Sier at the moment is that the VFL depth is being tested so far that he doesn't really have a lot of help around him. His best footy is when he can get a clearing handball to a runner, which is a lot harder if the runner either a) isn't there or b) doesn't run to where he needs to go.

Hopefully he can soar like an eagle... wait, no, a hawk, wait no, a falcon, wait no... hopefully he can soar like a Magpie amongst pigeons.

Media and Club commentary always saying that he will make a big impact once in the Senior team, when he gets a chance, but we are not going to give him that chance - yet. I think they are being too cute with him and I won't blame him if he goes to another club at the end of the year. So he is plenty good enough but we are not going to play him, is the message. For some reason he has to be held back and it is not his ability. It is becoming very annoying to watch and he must be starting to feel insulted.

Played next to no footy season to date and only a couple of games back into it. Won't hurt him to get a solid block of footy under his belt before he's given a senior opportunity.
