Last year for me the stand out was Waterman for West Coast.
From in and out of the side to All Australian with 50 plus goals.
Who is your pick for this upcoming year?

My possibilities are

Riley Thilthorpe- Of course depending on injuries but he is just a powerhouse and what he could do in the last part of the year with no pre season was huge!

Neil Erasmus- If given the opportunity could become another great cog in the Fremantle midfield. This is probably a real roughie but I could see him taking a big step this year.

Conor McDonald- I’m calling potential All Australian year, he is so damaging when at his best if he can get the consistency his numbers will be undeniable.

Kysiah Pickett- Has the potential to be the best small forward in the game can do things others can’t offensively and defensively.

Ryley Sanders & Joel Freijah.
Ed Richards to have his first pre-season training as a mid, I'll expect him to take his game up a level as well.

Not exactly a breakout year.. he’s been there and done that but I think shai bolton back in a good side.. happy and comfortable with his at home/family life will remind everyone just how good he is.. All Australian.. 40 plus goals etc

Josh Weddle for us - Had a good year and had some great moments, i think we see him further up the ground this year and put in to more damaging positions that allows himself to really stamp himself on games.

I like this by a tigers supporter! Cherish the good moments and wish him well.

Think you are right about this. Expecting Freo to be top 4 this year and think he will play a big part in that. Good call imo.

I think Matthew Johnson will be the one at Freo to take up more midfield time and step up to a new level. If Josh Treacy can take the same size step in 2025 as he did in 2024 then he will be the one.

I quite like Will Parker for us. I think he has a lot of scope to be a good AFL footballer. Where he fits is still being worked out as we are strong off half back (his current position) so perhaps even wing or midfield if he can improve his tank and ball getting ability.

Noah Balta now that he'll finally be settled into defence. He has the AFLs rarest skillset, you know?

Yea Johnson looks like a real physical type that could add the point of difference to that midfield as Fyfe exits.
