Unless he comes absolutely clean and becomes absolutely clean he has no future in WA or even Australia
best if he heads elsewhere to continue his life
I thought that was the case ie any criminal conviction precludes entry into the US until Brad Jones (The Colossus of Bogga Road) a convicted armed bank robber got a gig with the WWE and roles in a few movies (Troy) so obviously there is a way .If he ends up with a drug conviction he can't go to the US
If he has a drink-driving conviction he can't go to the US.
Actually i just double checked with my mum again. She said no overseas prescriptions are recognised here at all.. must be a registered Aussie doctor.
Inadmissabilty into the united states on the basis of a criminal conviction.
In the event of an arrest/conviction for a criminal activity, an alien travelling to the U S is required to apply for a visa to enter the United States. The pertinent US consulate visa officer will then decide whether the applicant may be granted the visa despite the criminal conviction.
The visa officer would take certain pertinent factors into consideration such as the egregiousness of the crime, the severity of the given penalty, other criminal activity and how much time has elapsed between the time the offence was committed and the visa application.
The emphasis is naturally on persuading the interviewing officer that the applicant is an upstanding member of society who would not engage in further criminal activity within the United States and generally would not contravene the conditions relevant to the particular visa being applied for.

Nah.. neverIs your Mum getting sick of you yet??
All well and good, but I suspect that if the reason for granting a visa was solely for the puprose of drug rehabilitation, it would be cleared pretty quick. Ensure he is taken from the airport directly to the rehab facility, and from the rehab facility back to the airport. Unlikely to engage in further criminal activity when confined in a rehab facility.
Yep, I realise that. I'm not advocating he goes to the US for rehab, just pointing out that he probably wouldn't have too much of an issue getting in if he/his family/WCE/whoever determined it was the best place for him to be. Just saying a *possible* criminal conviction does not necessarily preclude him from entering the US.You do realise we have rehab centres here don't you? If the ones in yank land were so good, then how come so many dropkicks like Lohan, Spears, etc., etc., keep getting into trouble? Those places are just expensive holiday resorts, where they can hide away from the media for awhile, then soon as they leave, they're back to their old ways.

Calm down, calm down, nothing serious. I have the inside scoop.
