Trade Whisperer page reporting emergency meeting being held at Carlton with CEO, Judd, Cripps and Bolton.

Not my info, but interesting to see if there is any truth, hopefully we are not resorting to Old knee-jerky Carlton.

Nope.

Time you took a chill pill and had a rest dlb99

You have been at it all day beating the same repetitive drum.

You must be exhausted.

I can go all night …….. let him vent … there are a lot of supporters that do bleed blue … but are bloody frustrated …. turning opinions is like turning a footy club around ;)

Takes time.

Throwing certain players amongst the wolves can work like it did with Cripps back in 2015. Not every player is like that though.

Worth noting that we never really threw Cripps to the wolves - we had mature bodies going through - walker, Carrazzo, Gibbs, curnow, bell, Murphy etc supporting Cripps' development/protecting his body.

Currently it is Cripps and not much else. The 175cm Fisher spends the 2nd most amount of time contesting the centre bounce and 3rd is a skinny/no-preseason dow...

Throw Levi into the centre bounces?

Coniglio would be mad to come here, absolutely barking mad.
No smart FA should choose us. Not on what we dished up all of 2018 and have now dished up again against North and GWS.

This is a crisis, and I believe the coach and coaching staff are responsible. If Neil Craig was still here we would not be serving up the rubbish witnessed last night.
Chill out a bit and none of us are happy with what happened yesterday and everyone needs a vent which is understandable.

Why do people always look at the negative to form opinions on? What about the Dogs game / We had the Hawks on the ropes in Tassie until Matty K went off injured / Pies got seriously lucky with the non touched goal call and dubious free / Suns we had until Liam Jones wasn't paid a key game saving mark in the final minute......

We have been seriously good this season apart from 2 games which no one will argue against. Young teams do this and it is what it is but the Internet is purely there so everyone can have an opinion and that opinion is 90% complaining and wanting to be heard. It is not just you either as it is everywhere but why do we all just concentrate on the negatives as much as they hurt i admit and i am also hurting but serious perspective is needed. GWS are serious Top 4 team and Flag favourite IMO if they learn to play at the MCG.

We copped them at home after a stinging loss when the media jumped all over them and they just smashed us sadly. These games happen but it is way to early to be making rash decisions on coaches and where has that attitude got us in the past?

People just need a chill pill and after 9 rounds of footy we have had 2 shocking games and been relatively stiff in every other loss when we had serious chances to win them.

Everybody is just so Glass is half empty rather than half full.

I understand the need to get midfield game time into Fish, Dow, Sps etc and it has been out of necessity that they have been exposed to this so early in their careers. However we have been crying out for small, skillful forwards.
Now that we have Gibbons, Ed, Jack, Cunners, surely they could take midfield rotations and allow the younguns to buzz around in the fwd 50 for a while.
Would love the coach to experiment a bit with this sort of thing.

Is there a law against it?

That was a devastating loss. Potentially a coach-killing loss.

Enough is enough. Dermie had his line in the sand game against Essendon all those years ago. Last night should be our line in the sand.

We are headed for 100 point beltings under Bolts.

Note, I tend not to favour sacking Bolton today.
I strongly advocate he be released at the end of the year.
If he chooses to leave early so be it.
If the results turn very bad and he get sacked, so be it.

We can't keep our heads in the sand, something is broken, really really broken. 2018 results and 2 of the last 3 results indicate that. If it as simple as midfield youth, then don't select so much youth in the middle. Seriously!!!
I give you A for effort.
And D for making much sense at all. Plenty of posters have engaged with you and even sympathised but you just conveniently ignore what they actually say. You don't discuss you browbeat. Every reply has been an excuse to say the same thing.
And how very noble of you to let Bolts stay a while after spending a day calling for his marching orders by sundown.

Our coach has no plan B. None, nada, zippo, zilch.

Some folks are here are putting the loss all on the youth. As if magically everything will be sunshine and roses ahead.

Rubbish, skill level, positioning, setup and inability to adapt in-game a the main reasons we stink. It's not the list.

We are last on the ladder, by 2 full games.

So you think we are travelling well?

We and Brisbane started at the same point in 2015. Look where they are now, look where we are.

I said nothing about the "list", simply that it is not true Buckley moved the club forward in his first 4 years at Collingwood.
If you're not comfortable with an interchangeable term, let me rephrase the question.
He went backwards. Every single year out of those 4, and then some more on top.
On what basis have you determined that he went 'backwards' in those years? Ladder positions and wins?
To suggest he and Bolton have walked into similar or even comparable circumstances is just absurd.
Quite right, it's preposterous! I'll reserve my dismay until the suggestion is made though.

He will know when I browbeat him …… I will be banned again.

How many years does that page have to exist without getting anything right, before people realize it isn't worth listening to?

From that page ... :tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:

The Carlton Football Club have called an emergency meeting involving CEO Cain Little Chris Judd, Brendon Bolton & Patrick Cripps blah blah blah!

Exactly!

Check how many players still on our list that were there then.
Compare it with theirs.
We didn’t start at the same point.

PS. We are one game clear on bottom. Not 2. 👍

I agree it was a shit loss. Hurts like hell. Hard to be credible as a faithful supporter.

You are preaching to the choir mate. Only time heals wounds.

Only time will get KM's into young legs.

Only time will put body mass on.

Only time will get the kiddies to play in a system.

Don't throw all your babies out with the bath water.

We are 1-8, after going 2-20 last year. Moral victories mean little to me nor to many others.

If you can’t understand why some people are down about the club then I don’t know what to say.

I can believe it and i am down as well but comparing this years games to last years is a whole different argument.

I understand, but this is a forum where we can do **** all about it, except vent. So vent away.
Was last week unacceptable: ahhhhhhh YES
Was the structures right: ahhhh NO (unless of course if you are the COACH of the team with something in hand other than Win/Loss with a bigger picture)

By all means …. put two stroke on the fire and see if I don't end up telling you to STFU.
